Amazing🤩 its very usefull for stylized characters hair😁 but can you guys say me can i simulate it 🥺 if i connect ahoge to geometry does it mean geometry movement from based nDynamic or joint is also move ahoge🤔

Yes, ahoge will follow the geometry just fine. There’s currently an issue with playback, it will be fixed in the next release. But, it renders without any problems, and motion blur is also supported.

I'm finishing a new version of Ahoge and will publish it soon. The updated plugin will include color controls, and both color and width will be displayed in the viewport. After that, I'll work on automating the build process for multiple versions of Maya.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what 'dynamic hair mode' means. Could you please elaborate? Currently, you can animate hair by rigging the NURBS surfaces, and motion blur is supported, although it hasn't been fully tested yet.

Yes, we have demos available on our Boosty page. Motion blur is also supported, and it can be rigged just like any other geometry in Maya.

I'd love to try this but Maya 2025 is not updating the script-plugin. I noticed after drag & dropping, according to the tutorial, the product should appear on the top set of tabs in Maya ... but nope. Unless it's hidden somewhere I cannot see?

If Marmoset supports Alembic, then yes; however, there is currently only initial support, which will be expanded later. More formats are planned to be added in the future.

Looks OK but you don't see any hair representation in the viewport. If you don't have an Nvidia card you're screwed because you gotta use Arnold CPU render to be able to see anything.

The plugin is written in C++17. It cannot be compiled against older versions of MtoA. The oldest version of Maya it can work with is 2023. It might change in the future, if I decide to rewrite everything.
