Have you ever come across the book "Undergraduate Algebra" by Serge Lang? I wonder if it would be a good starting point before going to his famous Algebra textbook.

Hey mr. Math sorcerer. I studied math in college years back but I pivoted to a career in chemistry (long story). I've been interested in refreshing my memory, would reading apostol/spivak's (etc) books as a refresher be a good method or do you have a better recommendation? Thanks in advance.
