I can’t believe it never occurred to me to make my own graphite colors 😱😍 graphite and charcoal colors are some of my absolute FAVORITES and I always hated the lack of variety when brands do these colors-thanks for setting off a lightbulb moment, I’m so excited!

I’m with you on beautiful art-I’ve always only been drawn to whatever my eye sees as beauty. But the coolest thing is that I’ve also noticed that the more I look at other artists’ work, the broader my view becomes, and I can see the beauty in work I might have dismissed previously. I have a class on making graphite paint on skillshare if you are on there. The easiest way is to get the graphite powder and mix a little pile of graphite powder into a little pile of paint - your favorite tube watercolor paint. Stir it in well and then put that paint into a paint pan to dry and use later.
