In this video I create an abstract painting on 4 canvases.
The set measures 160x60cm.
I used spray paint to make lines in my background. I used Catalyst wedge knives and acrylic paint to make the triangular geometric shapes with masking tape. I also made splashes by throwing acrylic paint.

Bonsoir John , c'est toujours avec plaisir que je vous regarde travailler , pour cette toile j'ai beaucoup aimé la première étape , les volutes gris clair très bien posés ! Un tableau minimaliste en soi , l'ajout des triangles noirs très bien réussi aussi cette étape irait très bien dans un loft 👍💖 , puis les triangles de couleurs pas mal surtout le rouge avec les vibrations de couleur . Le résultat final un peu chargé à mon goût . On n'est jamais lassé de vous voir peindre , Un bon moment de détente 👍🌈 Bonne continuation !

I have really liked your work recently. There is a lot of early stuff on here that got me interested as well. I may not be into the squeeze bottle lines, but I understand that they connect the panels unto one cohesive piece. This piece doesn't have that so I am super into it.

Wow I just had to share this, I’ve always been SO SO curious as to what Mr. Beckley has decided to name/call each one of his pieces of art, if they where to be translated into English. (Which is the only language unfortunately that I know and can understand) So having said all that, I’ve decided I’m going to do is to go through all the videos of Mr. Beckley’s that I’ve watched thus far (& I’ve watched a ton, if not almost every single one he’s put out to date so far) & translate each of his names paintings into English, & I’ll comment the English version word in the comments under that video.
