Acrylic. I hope you try it … I find the blind contour drawing has such interesting results.

Very nice process. Blind contour does get you seeing but not tightening up trying make accurate drawing. Are you using thin acrylic?

Thank you! Yes … layers of thin acrylic unless I want to cover something up and then I add gesso to make a color more opaque or use an opaque color.

This may be a silly question but how far away are you sitting from the objects you are painting.

Mary does these amazing videos generously FREE! I personally love seeing all of her process from deciding her various subjects to paint to the actual painting. She also is so attune to finding reasonably priced art supplies AND subjects.
