Being in "For A Cause I Believe In" range is such a defeating feeling. It's never a matter of how, but "win."

It is definitely something you need to consider when doing combat math! Sometimes however your opponent needs to know “win” to play it so it’s not a dead card in their hand.

Thanks for this, as a new player to TCGs it's so helpful to watch a game with a deck I'm interested in while you explain what's going on and why each player does what they do, it helps me learn when to swing face vs try to deal with an enemy unit as an aggro player, etc. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for sharing gameplay videos. They give me something to think about until I can open boosters of my own. I’d like to see a video about how to determine if I should be attacking enemy units or the enemy base. I know it depends on the situation, but it’s hard to know.

Fa1th needed to kill fighters instead of K2 first on that last turn. If he does he only takes 5 dmg back instead of 6. And then he gets to swing arc back for heal 1 to put himself out of range of for a cause. Then fa1th at least has a chance to hope dudeness doesnt see a 4 dmg for a cause the next turn as well as taking initiative and swinging with luke leaves him at 21 again.

Played the standard sabine green for a while, its fun but just overplayed so I moved to this leia deck, its also fun but not represented as heavily. However have recently changed to sabine yellow, full of combat tricks and loads of fun, I find it wins more consistently.

The combo is Leia with keep fighting. As seen at the 8 minute mark, it helps push the extra damage and is also able to chip away at the bases because of the Fighters for Freedom. While there are many targets in the deck that work with keep fighting (Leia herself being maybe the best one) it is a card that we feel is slept on in the current meta. Thank you for watching.

His_Dudness could have attacked, but it would have had to attack onto FA1TH’s shielded bright hope which has sentinel. In his deck he runs spec force solider which bypasses sentinel, and wanted to keep an attacker incase he needed

I've been trying to use Leia decks and enjoy her but i need to pilot her better. Right now i have a deck with all Rebels. Is it worth throwing in the non rebels with just some Reds? Won't hurt Cause to believe in too much?

There is always a risk when you include cards that might not give the full benefit with what it is trying to accomplish, so if you are going to include such cards, they need to be worth it. For a card like Keep Fighting, His_Dudeness has found it worth it, as seen in the gameplay, to include it despite potentially not getting the extra damage from “for a cause I believe in”

Can you really have two Luke Skywalkers out at once? That seems counter intuitive if it's legal because one is a leader.

Yes you can as long as they are different versions!

@Outmaneuver So when a card has to be named, like when playing Regional Governor, you don't have to name the version of the card but when checking for uniqueness on your board you could have a field of Luke's in play? I don't like that flavor, mechanically or how it will impact deck building decisions in a year or two. Still really love this game but it's no longer perfect imo. Perfection is the highest bar and this doesn't really change my opinion of the game. Thanks for the response!
