This is very close to my Leia deck - I stopped playing it because you could see the beating it put on other players in their eyes. It is a monster :)

@@icedchief Oh right, this is the internet and I cannot give a player kudos for making a good deck that I've played a similar variant to and can confirm it will slap people hard. Just for your cynical enjoyment I will rephrase my previous statement to: "Gosh, I just posted my copy of a VERY similar deck like this on reddit a week ago and now it pops up as a tourney winner, congrats!"

Any thoughts on Mon Mothma's ? Were they good ?

If I see her early, I will normally resource her. What Mon Mothma really does is dig for Rebel Assault. Otherwise she just replaces herself, with what's likely a better unit. Playing her early just feels like a significant tempo loss to me.

I would much prefer a top 8 played out 1st place list. Swiss 5-0 is good, but the top 8 are the best decks and would give us a better feel for the deck vs better competition.

I do think top cuts help make events more competitive, but 5-0 including three wins in a row against Boba Green is still nothing to scoff at!

The call ran out of time! ^^; I talked to Envert afterwards on Discord and asked if he had anything else to add -- we could have done another call and stitched together the clips -- but he was fine with leaving it there.

I'm a Leia main, doing really well with her but struggling in my webcam league against competitive level players. This video really lit a fire under my ass to make my deck better, already working on a revamped version incorporating some of these cards. Only thing I'm iffy on is Mon, but I'll give her a try.

Heh. My main takeaway is dodge overwhelming barrage:) i was just testing boba v leia and as the boba player i felt there was no way leia wins if i drew average. If you turn off space you turn the corner on them by using your surprise strikes on your spacers and defenders and then kill with the firespray. You can even not send steadfast into leia but a smaller unit for more overwhelm and race that way. Ill give this list a spin though.

@@TowerNumberNine Envert. Guy speaks as though what he says is pure fact. Its interesting. He once played me on TTS, claiming Han Green is the best deck in the game, that he was 15-0 and undefeated. I promptly destroyed him. From what I am told, he makes similar claims all the time. I am all for confidence, but this guy is something else lol. That said he is at least a competent player, just think he plays a lot of weak competition in general.

I agree. 5-0 is fun and all, but the first 3 rounds could be vs trash. Not having a real played out top 8 matters when considering how competitive and playable a deck is. Just because I went 6-0 at 2 weekly events with jank Hera doesn’t mean I’m on KZbin acting like I know it all. In all honesty this is your basic Leia deck that was created months before the game came out.

I'm W 72 L 18 with Leia on Karabast. Winning a lot of games against all tier S decks. Leia is solid and good If u play well.
