All black people, regardless of hue, originally came from Mother Africa. We all started off in Sudan as one people and as our family got too numerous for the area, leaders were sent out with followers to set up new civilizations all over the globe. There are 2 types of Africans, the straight haired, East Indians and the woolly haired. Those 2 groups intermarried to produce some of the many tribes in Africa and India. Africa is the most diverse continent on the planet in terms of its population, natural resources, geography and cultures; yet there's similarity between all it's indigenous people because we are all family no matter where we are today. I know we were all over the globe but I also know how we got there. Pay tribute to our great mother and never disown her.

Has this person ever been to Africa? Well I have and this is just not true! Every time I go, I see myself in someone or a family member. I am African American and have traveled to many African Countries. My Fiancé is Ghanaian and if he was in America no one would be able to tell he was not African American until he opened his mouth. You cannot look at pictures you see on the internet and judge a entire group of people. For instance when I went to Egypt for the first time I was shock at how many Black indigenous people I saw there, because you do not see them when footage is shown from Egypt. I remember being on a bus leaving Rwanda and entering the Democratic Republic of Congo. I was on that bus for around 30 minutes before someone spoke to me and when I opened my month heads snapped in shock of my accent. Until then they thought I was from there. Unhappy with this dialog and material. Just creates division. Ignorance at its best. This is just embarrassing.

Nice video! I was just telling my parents not too long ago how I thought it was very very interesting how much we favored the Pacific Islanders! Those people favor us so much it's scary and even some of the people over in the Caribbean and South America look like Pacific Islanders! If Dna science did not exist, then it would be easy to push this kind of nonsense narrative. There's no conspiracy. Take a simple dna test. The average African American will be 70%-95% West African. My own ancestors and dna lineage traces predominantly to Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon. You seem to ignore the phenotypic diversity in Africa. They aren't all dark skin, just like African Americans aren't all light skin. Many of us have European ancestry, and that's why some African Americans look different from darker skin continental Africans.

Hair texture is a result of many different factors. Pacific Islanders were originally African people migrating there thousands of years ago. They later mixed with people coming from Asia to produce the African-Asian look they have today with a slightly looser hair texture. Many African Americans are mixed as well. Many African ethnic groups also wear their hair longer depending on the climate.

There are many factors that go into why we don't look similar to SOME African tribes. There has been a lot of mixing in the Americas with the colonizers. But just because we don't look as similar as you would like us to look to each other doesn't mean we not African like them. Nigerians look just like black Americans to me. We all have similar genetic make ups and we all have melanin different from other races. True enough the planet belongs to us but I think we migrated from Africa to the Americas and everywhere else before any other race popped up on this planet. My point was that our tribal mixture (Angolan, mixed with, Nigerian, Senegalese, Ghanaian, etc) makes us look DIFFERENT from Black Africans whose family have evolved in JUST Ghana for thousands of years. People also use Latino; but that doesn't change that the majority of their white ancestry comes from Spain (of course you have your exceptions, some of the "whiteness" in the DR is also French); but overall mostly Spanish ancestry. If you are a mostly Black Dominican; you are still Hispanic; since you grew up in DR. But honestly I hate the terms Hispanic and Latino.
