Out here in the sticks, there were three men who always made us hicks dance....1. Garth Brooks- sing-a-long 2. George Straight- white folks 2-step, often followed by baby making practice, and 3. Toby Keith- jump up and dance around like fools, just what ever boot scootin motion came out, and laughter and smiles all around. We were so musically blessed in the 80's, there were very few who were hardcore fans of only one genre. My mother just shook her head and said "How many people can there possibly be with Ozzy Osborne on one side of the tape deck and Garth Brooks on the other?" Me and my friends just smiled and said " Millions". Music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's transitioned so beautifully from one decade to the next that we have 30 years+ of memories with the most diverse soundtrack ever imagined. And every song on it is great.

RIP Toby Keith. He is up there with that huge sense of humor making everybody in Heaven have some laughs. He is also up there singing more of his serious ballads as another one of God's singing angrls. This man is definitely a true legend that we lost way too soon. He has such a beautiful voice, i can't eait for you to get more into his music. He has some of the best ballads of the 90s era. He Ain't Worth Missing & Does That Blue Moon Ever Shine On You are 2 of my absolute favorites. He had so many though it's hard to have favorites because he was so great!
