Bob Seger is a class act. During his tours, he had his own jet waiting at the airport and after every show, he'd fly back home so he could wake up with his wife and kids. Who needs groupies with love like that? PEACE!!!!!

His name is Bob Cger. One the greatest singer songwriter of all time. He once was called a overnight sensation. His response was "Yeah I'm a 10 year overnight sensation". He lived this song for 10 years. Once he hit it big he was a hit machine. The sax player was named Alto Reid RIP. One reason Bob says he'll stop touring is the death of Alto he says it would never be the same without Alto Reid on the sax. He was with Bob from the start.

Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. "Turn The Page" is my favorite song by him. But he has so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Mainstreet", "Still The Same", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.

Bob hits home runs every time! This is a live version and is much better than the original studio version, which was recorded in 71. It wasn't put out as a single until 1976 after an album of live performances was released. I think this version just has more power and soul than the studio version. There is a video that goes along with this version that shows Bob at different stages of his life performing live, I love that.

Had the weirdest experience ever Niagara Falls NY 1977, so he had broken out with Live Bullet, and here was Bob opening for KISS. Half the audience us in our late teens early 20's backing BOB, and then the 12-16 year old just sitting there waiting for their heroes. It was the most unusual double header ever.

I experienced one of those concerts too, LOL ~ Bob hadn't quite made it nationally and KISS invited him to open for them ~ It was an odd mix of fans for sure, but I remember Bob and band blew the roof off the place, at least according to me ~ He was forever grateful to KISS for inviting him to tour that he wrote and recorded the song Sunburst on his album Night Moves as a tribute to them......

Try some Marshall Tucker Band , Can't You See , Heard it in a love song , then you will understand why my generation ROCKED , IM 61 , my best years behind me , but our music was a thousand times better than 2023

Bob is such a good story teller. This of course was about being on the road from one show to the next. I love the part about when they'd go into a restaurant strung out from the cold with all the eyes upon you. If you'll read the lines he was talking about the people in the restaurant talking about the bands long hair and saying was that a woman or a man. Great song and another good reaction. Thanks!

You are correct. He is talking about being on the road & the repetitious cycle, turning the page, to another day just like the last one. LOL Being judged for having long hair etc. I grew up watching Bob, before he was famous as he performed at small venues. He is a Michigan boy & played cool outdoor venues like 'Sherwood Forest' & 'Mt. Holly' & as a teen, we loved to go watch him & 'Grand Funk Railroad'. Also a great MIchigan Band. And Seger is pronounced like the word see, 'See-ger'..
