I've had issues with Lew's and Abu , they are both made by the same factory Doyo , also have had problems with 13Fishing , I might be the problem because because I do fish a lot and I'm hard on gear , I have now transitioned to Shimano and Daiwa for reels and Cashion and Dobyns for rods

Only have one Abu, the revo winch for deep cranking - awesome for that. Otherwise mostly Shimano curados and a few lews bb. Have been moving rods to Dobyns the last 4-5 years

@@paulryndak9916 I honestly think the mid range area of rods and reels priced from $60-$200.. have all greatly improved. I really don't think people need to spend more than $120-$150 to be able to have reliable equipment anymore. 25yr ago.. the cheap stuff that was $20-$100 was TRASH! What you think??? I been meaning to buy a dobyns colt... feels like a good rod for the money....

I just picked up a Cashion elite for my boy...6'9 heavy for frogs... paid $50 for it... I also use to have a 7'6 heavy Cashion. That thing was literally like a telephone pole. Had no flex or give AT ALL! In my opinion it was too stiff
