Appreciate the look see on this. I updated and have been traveling out of country so have not noticed a change with maybe 2 small trips after update, EU covid travel is a nightmare, since but will be checking this setting ASAP 🤘 Okay, before sending my comment I decided to check.... My system was indeed moved to powerful - corrected setting thanks to you. Thanks my friend

Brilliant! Glad it helped. It’s surprising how much difference that setting makes, especially on short trips.

Thanks for info. installed 21.B last week seems ok but will check climate settings ASAP.

It seems a very low number of vehicles have experienced this, but worth checking just in case you’re one of those affected.

I checked my settings todays and mine is still on Balanced. TBH after 10 months of ownership I'm still finding settings I never knew existed. Having just driven home from the New Forest which included several miles of speed restricted M27 in the dark with very heavy traffic I actually arrived home with more miles that I-Pace satnav predicted, must say something about my usual driving!

Lol. Forced efficiency! It seems only a low number of vehicles have had this but I have had reports of a few more than mine, so it’s well worth checking.

Thanks. That's not a setting I have explored. I have just now set it to "soft" to see what effect it will have

Worth having a play. It makes quite a big difference especially at the start of a journey.

This video, which shows it was posted 9 months ago, seems to be the last one posted. Hope all is ok and we see more I-Pace videos, maybe even on newer I-Pace :). Leads to the question the MY I-Pace your videos, date posted, type details. Thank you.

Interesting, I’ll check this shortly as I’ve also noticed higher than expected consumption. Been seeing some 50s on journeys where would normally expect 40-45 depending on time of year (longer stints with average 65-69 mph). Most confusing was leaving Ionity Peterborough and doing 47 despite temps up, slightly lower average speed and battery being at 35C after charging. I’ll report back if had the same.

Sounds very similar to what I experienced. Let me know if it turns out to be the same thing. Was starting to think it was just me. I was surprised to learn just how much extra the faster fan speed draws. Didn’t think it would be that significant.

Had a look and still on balanced, so still a little unexpected. Have some long runs coming up but of course so dependent on weather and my right foot…its too much fun to drive tbh

Haha. It’s a common problem. I think I’d rather spend an extra 10 minutes charging than driving like my gran! Glad yours isn’t affected though. Maybe just worse weather causing yours (it’s been windy).

Currently getting 2.3ml/kWh on short journey so not too bad I think as its a range of around 207 miles I guess.

Yeah that equates to around 435 Wh per mile, so pretty similar to my figures after I reset the climate control (and also before S21B). Definitely not a glitch that affects everyone as Garry didn’t have it either. Hope the video may help anyone who does suffer it.

Thanks for the information it’s always a great help. I’ve always gone by the miles per kWh is there an easy way to work out watts per 100 miles and is that more accurate .
@AbuDhabiDude

They’re just different versions of the same thing. They’re all as accurate as each other. To convert miles per kWh to wH per mile, just divide 100 by the miles per kWh figure. So for example 4 miles per kWh equals 250 wH per mile. To convert wH per mile to miles per kWh, divide 1000 by the wH per mile figure. So 500 wH per mile is 2 miles per kWh. To convert wH per mile to kWh per 100 miles, just multiply it by 100. So 400 wH per mile equals 40 kWh (40,000 wH) per 100 miles. As I say, they’re all as accurate as each other, just different ways of reporting it.
