Just got notice today . Have experienced the climate control self termination... usually start up. After a mile or so the stuffiness told me it was off On my '20 ev400. Glad to have a fix as I thought I was crazy at first. Timed charger user here - power grid discount. Update makes it work work like my i3 has for yeaRs. I find it very useful as I do not have to mess with manually pressing delays on Wall charger, older model w/out Wi-Fi or Bluetoothe. Has worked well for me. Also,Jaguar app & wattcar does not show battery state or charge status.... Very annoying Appreciate the information on the software update- great information !!! Hi and thanks for the info. My climate control has never done that so I had no idea what it was referring to. Thanks for explaining it! As you can probably tell, I’m not a fan of the Jaguar implementation of timed charging at all! Glad to hear it suits some people though! 😉 Nice to know where some of my viewers are from. Bet your weather is nicer than ours right now! ☔️

Phew! I have a feeling this will be a huge relief to quite a few people! I just stream from Apple Music so I’ve never suffered from that bug, but I can imagine how irritating it could become. Glad to hear it’s finally sorted!

HI, I downloaded this update and the only change that I've noticed is that the charge/discharge kWh reading in the centre screen has been changed to Average Speed. I've always used timed charging, set to cheap rate period - and wouldn't do without it - just plug in and the car is charged at 7p/kWh overnight.

Hi. The reading in the centre screen can be changed. Press the silver button on the end of the indicator stalk and it will cycle through the available options. Have you checked your electricity Bill to make sure you’re charging at off-peak times? If you set preferred charging times it really doesn’t do anything unless you also set a departure time. Even then, it will go outside the preferred charging period in order to get the car to 100%. Check my video titled “getting to grips with timed charging” for a full description of how it works.

Sat nav update finally! Just a question on your home page. How did you get the clock to be on the start up screen? I have something similar on home page 1 but the car doesn’t display it on start up. It starts on home page then I have to always swipe to display home page 1.

When on the home page, tap on settings. Then Home Page Settings (top option). There is an option there (top right) to select your default home page.

Hi, it was interesting to see that you got an update for TCU in 2021 🤔 What is your current version number of TCU software if I dare to ask 🙃 Mine is going into the shop on monday to update BECMS Software as the car will not charge at some new DC Chargers from Compleo which are operated by Elli, the Volkswagen Charging Company.

I never use the timed charger. I use the google maps navigation.

Don’t blame you. Timed charging is so badly done in the car. I have a charger with a timer so I just let that control it and use MyPace to set the maximum SOC to charge to. But you can also control the time with MyPace.

It was an over the air update to version 19.2. It’s not that new but it took a while for me to get it on my car for some reason.

Got update on 12th May. Signed into navigation but haven't confirmed the fix yet. Our IPace is my Chinese wife's daily driver.... In Yorkshire, does that count? 😀 Another great vid BTW. 👍

@@AbuDhabiDude I stick to the timed charging on my zappi chargers, it has a single clink manual override it you need to give a daytime boost.

Yes I use the timed charging on my Wallbox Pulsar too. Easier. I use MyPace to limit the SOC to 80% and the charger to limit charging to off-peak times.
