Abusing the skid plates - Stock Bronco takes on MSV and Coney Flats

Sunday October 1st some friends and I tackled Bunce School Road, Middle Saint Vrain, and Coney Flats. We have had record rainfall here in CO this year (like it used to be in the 90s) and it has exposed some pretty cool obstacles along routes that used to just be buick roads.
Now that i've basically had the bronco for a full year, my goal to wheel it stock for a year is complete. It's time to get serious about adding a couple more inches of ground clearance, and some taller tires. It's going to be quite the expense.

I agree with you Justin, I really like that front wheel camera view. It's nice when on a shelf road too. I am going to parallel your build, I hope, on our '22 Wildtrak. I did add a full Next Venture Motorsports skid plates with UHMW. Much quieter dragging over the rocks. Just need a front bash plate now since I am still using the stock plastic one.

Nice video. I got the Rock Hard 4x4 steel belly pan skids on my Bronco. Much better than the stock skids and don’t hang up on everything. Don’t really notice the weight.

I asked you a couple of years ago about Bunce school and you said it was super easy! I got there and was rock crawling my utv! It was awesome but was certainly wasn’t gravy! We drove up to the plane crash site.

My neighbor bought a new Bronco this summer. While it will not be a pavement princess, he definitely will not be doing anything like this. I'm going to pass this clip along so he can see what he is missing LOL

I live in the desert of New Mexico. I looked at the dealership here and saw the vents for the rear are under the front seats. I’m worried about my kids getting hot in the back even when on full blast. Do you see any issues like that? You think the rear cools off?

this is a common complaint i'd expect ford to mitigate when they update the bronco next cycle. if it's blazing hot outside the rear is noticably hotter, however, if you blast the front center vents straight back you can get air flow back there. the floor vents are only active if you are running the floor vent mode. normal AC does not come out of the floor vents.
