I'm not one for these telescopic controllers but this one looks pretty awesome. I wish controllers all came with multiple dpad options. Great review

Is the dpad good for platformers? I love my G8 outside of the clicky d pad
@KeiRetroGaming8 күн бұрын
Excellent for platformers. I'd probably give the dpad a solid B+ rating, not terribly clicky either which I prefer. I've heard that G8 was pretty clicky, that kinda scared me off trying it.

This controller really transform lenovo y700 into gaming console. I have also kishi ultra and d9 pro but this controller fits best of them

I bet that's awesome with the y700!

Quick question, do you know about the memo s3? And if you do,can you do a comparison?
@KeiRetroGaming5 күн бұрын
I've never heard of that one, sorry.

one very important question: do you think the USB-C connector will last? That's the weakpoint for most of these controllers.
@KeiRetroGaming4 күн бұрын
It feels like it's on there good. All the phone controllers I've used are still strong at the usb port.

HAy great video, I was wondering if the samsuslg tab S9 Ultra would fit in this controller that is basically the controller i need? It not let them know that would be a great feature for their next gen.
@KeiRetroGaming8 күн бұрын
The S9 ultra is 326.4mm long unfortunately. This is far larger than the 216mm it supports.

@kei / anyone else in this 'scene', maybe you can help me out. I recently started looking into controllers for an android tablet for DS emulation. What I thought would be the norm is a battery bank being built into these controllers. The best I could find was something with a 500mAh battery, which was really only for running itself, not charging other devices. Are there any of these style (expandable, tablet friendly) controllers with a proper amount of battery built in? Like a 10,000 or even 20,000 mAh? It seemed like an absolute no-brainer to me, but nothing on amazon seemed to fit (maybe i'm just terrible at searching though).

I've never heard of that before. Most controllers like this don't include any form of battery inside, instead relying on the device battery.

Does the dpad work well for fighting games like Street Fighter or MK?
@KeiRetroGaming8 күн бұрын
Yep it's great for fighting games so far. The extra dpad options give you a bit of flexibility as well to customize it to your liking.

@@KeiRetroGaming which one should i buy between Abxylute S9, Gamesir G8+, Memo S3 Tablet & EasySMX M15? Which do u think is best among these four?

@@KeiRetroGaming also is the joystick and buttons of the s9 really gud after long term use? And also does the mobile phone slides down while fitting into the controller? I have seen some mobile slide downwards while fitting them in
@KeiRetroGaming8 күн бұрын
The M15 is good if you want to save some money, but the abxylute feels more solid all round. Both are great. Check out my review on the M15 though before deciding. The Gamesir g8 was very expensive in Canada last time I checked so I never ended up trying that one.

Too early to tell for long term use but the buttons are excellent so far. The phone doesn't slide from what I see either, especially with the phone case on.
