I love watching Tales of Mystic artes and new mechanics even if I get spoiled, but I'll leave it here at the Boost Strikes. The game is gorgeous, I'll buy it xD My only complain is with the camera angles.

Hearing this on English, I feel like when they say their lines.. it's like they aren't in the fight XD like they just say their skill name with no scream or that that "Ahhhhh!" On their Boost Attacks. Alphen had some of that good "Ahhhh!" Feeling on his Mystic Artes

Can you control which pair does the boost strike? Like if I click on Alphen's D-pad, can you decide who he pairs up with? (sometimes he does it with Shione, sometimes with Rinwell)

Unfortunately, it seems to be random :(. And if you press a button with a dead character the game chooses any other random pair.

I read somewhere it's do to with character position on the battlefield? Like they do it with whoever they are nearest too? Not sure how true that is that mind.

Hi! For Alphen's it unlocks as you progress the story. For everyone else, you unlock it by maximizing relationships with the characters at camp grounds.

How to trigger special strike?

Hi! Special Strikes are automatically prompted in specific battles. It'll trigger use by pressing the directional buttons when prompted, similar to how to activate Boost Strikes.

Dohalim's second mystic art is very difficult to pull due to his short OL time 😑 and he has no OL extension skill

Actually his is one of the easiest to pull off imo: Elusive Deity> Tornado drive> Tempest> seismic rupture> Crescent Flash (large AOE)> Mystic Arte

It’s pretty easy to pull off when you use the right arts. The second mystic arte I find difficult to pull is Kisara’s given how her artes take so long to pull off.

Mmmmm i dont like the art of skills its like there are too fast and not gorgeous as previous TALES games. The models of characters are ok the scenarios are beatiful the batle system is just too old and without changes i was hoping they add some terrain difficulties in batle magma water etc. I will wait till this game is in offert.

The English voice acting is absolutely terrible. Those are supposed to be finishing moves, powerful moves, they put a strain on the body, they're tough to use. The Voice Actors just sound bored. Law's is pretty good. Shionne's is in character at least. But Rinwell, Kisara, Dohalim, and Alphen are just... I mean. My god. I'm glad I play this in Japanese.

It's less of the voice acting and more of the voice direction..if you actually hear them when they need to show range and emotion in cutscenes they do a great job but you can tell for these they weren't given the best direction.
