Something to keep in mind. You’ll likely need PV present to upload the newest firmware onto the XP. If you find that you are getting an upload failure, make sure you have some solar on the unit. In other words, night time uploads may not be possible for some people.

I love 3-phase 208v, that's what I have now. 480v is the best, because most high-power commercial is 480v.

With the AC coupling you can add more solar input with micro-inverters or really find a used grid tied inverter connect it up to the generator input. The 6000xp will backfeed the grid tie inverter turn it on.

How does the EG4 6000xp handle AC coupling when the load is not needed, say the battery was charging and is now full? Does it adjust the frequency to shut down the AC coupled inverter?

Interesting. So once you connect a 120v input you lose your split phase output. Guessing it's just running directly in passthrough at that point. Will it charge the batteries off 120v input? That would still be pretty nice.
