The groove continues over i Highway for the most part, but with less heavy lyrics-Malcom said powerage was for the diehards which i think is true..love the album.

Brian's voice here suits it so much better than it would have had they played it back in the 80s when his vocals were technically more intense. It's so good here, so bluesy and soulful.

Totally agree. There is some kind of story telling thing in Powerage that threads all the songs. I can’t explain cause I don’t understand it but it’s there. It’s a very cohesive album.

+AC/DC⚡ Brian's voice was at its best in 2003 that it had been since the early 80's, Just listen to Back In Black at Circus Krone his voice is amazing and he hits all the notes just like on the album.

I was there. It was so hot. Brian took off his shirt and squeezed it and the sweat dropped down on the stage. The boys brought almost the same light show they use in big halls and so it was like a sauna. They opened the doors whenever the cannons shot because there was too much pression in the small venue. Great show

Powerage was the best Bon Scott era album imo. To me they really defined the sound of AC/DC in that album. Brian did a damn fine job covering this. He almost sounds just like Bon in the opening verses.

This is amazing. Peoples comments have said it all already. When I want to play what I consider to be prime ac,/,DC I play this song or gimme a bullet or down payment blues. I dunno. Have forever. Amazing to hear this I'm blown away. To cool they played this. This is so amazing. Not even close to commercial. I'd say this is true ac at its finest. Omg yes. When I was real young before highway to hell I thought bon was saying brown sugar :) tears.

Except the whole album. Most of the Bon stuff is more generic rock n roll, but Powerage to me, is his most personal album and lyrical highpoint. It is Bon's. Only Sin City is the exception.
