My Guitarist Son used to listen to AC/DC & play his guitars exactly the same on their music. Back then I never really listened to them. Today, this 73 yr old Mom has chosen to listen to the ROCK MUSIC he listened to to find out why he loved about these bands. After listening to OZZIE, AC/DC, GUNS & ROSES & so many other TRUE ROCK BANDS MUSIC & the ACTUAL WORDS TO THEIR SONGS.....I FINALLY can ENJOY the MUSIC that my SON STILL ENJOYS. I know HE CAN APPRECIATE THEIR MUSIC TO A MUCH GREATER EXTENT BEING A GUITARIST, & TO LISTEN TO HIM PLAY THEIR MUSIC JUST LIKE THEY DID WITH ALL THEIR RIFFS. BUT, I THINK IT'S PRETTY DARN AWESOME TO ENJOY THE VERY MUSIC HE DOES DESPITE. OUR AGE DIFFERENCE. HE ALWAYS WANTED ME TO " LISTEN " TO THE WORDS AS WELL AS THEIR MUSIC......." NOW " I DO. AWESOME!

I’m 56. Do you see the young fans at this concert? In 1991! I went to my first AC/DC concert in 1977 for my 10th birthday. Cleveland 8/22/77 ‘Let There Be Rock’ tour! It was Metallica. Ozzy. Van Halen. Queen. Greatest evolution of music, ever! I stopped listening to the ‘newer’ music in the 90s, it was like nobody had anything creative to offer. Now, the grandkids want me to ‘crank it’! And, look at the ‘new’ movies coming out this summer, Hollywood has eaten itself, prequels are having prequels!!! Like, stop being offended by NOTHING!!! Play an episode of ‘All In The Family’, Archie Bunker, today, and you’ll go to jail charged with a hate crime!

They were somewhat popular back in the begining, there were so many big bands in my youth, but these guys continually toured and their popularity grew each year, they're rise was the most consistent of any band over generations. They always gave great live shows, they've earned their place.

@topixfromthetropix16742 жыл бұрын
That does not appear to be the bell used in the 80's, that one had no writing on it. Don't know if that's a new bell or the old one got refurbished.
@Neverland19772 жыл бұрын
@@topixfromthetropix1674 I'm pretty sure the original Bell has always had "HELL'S BELL" and "TAYLOR LOUGHBOROUGH ENGLAND" written/engraved on it. If this is a different bell, it'd be hard to tell it apart from the original.

His drumming is so different than Phil Rudd's. It works great..he does a bit a fillin' and snare rolls, and pumps that beat which pushes the band a bit more. Angus muffs up that solo hard, very rare!

The first time i heard AC/DC was at our school concert back in the 70s. Stevie Wright was supposed to be the main act but never showed. So this goup of teenagers filled in for him. No singer back then, just the drums and guitars. Little did we know that we were listening to the sound of a group that would rattle glass around the planet. 50 years on, i still remember 4 skinny kids playing in a small school auditorium. We all cheered when one of the girls climbed the stage and danced by herself to the beat. Can't remember her name, but remember how it mirrors millions still dancing to their music to this day.
