They are real men and family to each other. The whole band drank tea in the dressing room while Malcolm was battling alcoholism. Being an alcoholic myself I appreciate their bond to each other 😊

You mention Angus and Brian’s mannerisms being so iconic but for those of us who grew up with this particular lineup, Malcolm, Phil and Cliff are just as iconic. To many of us these five are the definitive AC/DC.

If you haven't done it yet, watch the entire concert. This is the next to last song in this show. It followed a 17+ minute version of "Let There Be Rock" with a 12-14 minute solo from Angus complete with going out to the end of the center stage ramp to the riser that elevated him about 10 feet higher than the stage. Three shows in 3 nights to more than 220,000 people. Epic show.

This was a classic AC/DC song written and recorded in 1979 when Bon Scott was the lead singer... It was AC/DC's first gold-selling album 'Highway to hell'... It was a huge loss when Bon Scott was unexpectedly found dead in a friend's car after a night of heavy drinking in early 1980... 😪 Brian Johnson proved to the correct choice as a vocalist to take Bon Scott's job and bring AC/DC even more success... It could have gone either ways - the fans of Bon Scott could have easily hated the 'new guy' and called the 'Back in Black' album trash, but they didn't... They admired Brian Johnson for singing all of Bon Scott's songs in concert... and they loved the guy cos he always met and talked to AC/DC fans and signed anything they wanted, just like Bon Scott used to. He was one of them... not some pompous 'rock star' who would never been seen... That was what saved AC/DC's career after a tragedy.

Such a fun review. Weirdest thing is i am not a huge ACDC or even a big lead guitarist fan but so funny that the finger movements of Angus in all live videos matches the music i am hearing from his guitar which makes it all the more fun to watch. So different from other classic live R & R performances. Looks like they are playing a different song.

I think you should react to black betty by ram jam. It's a single song but it is an underrated classic, also I know you generally react to rock/punk/metal songs, but it would cool if you reacted to other types of genres and music. I highly recommend you to listen to labour from Paris Paloma, it's such a unique song that came out recently and it's so good, it would be a great start to dive into other kind of music if you consider this suggestion in the future. Great video, I love your reaction to ac/dc my friend was on there when they played, a life time experience that you will always remember and it was peak music.

The relationship between Bon and Angus on state was really something on a different level. Angus use to climb on Bon's shoulder and Bon would dance around the stage with one singing and the other playing. Incidentally have you ever looked up the Australian band Airborne founded by two brother as well. The lead singer Joel O'keeffe is like Bon and Angus combined in one person with his antics including climbing the lighting rigging while still playing his guitar much like Angus while hanging off the steelworks.
@taekwondotime Жыл бұрын
That's all well and good but Brian Johnson eclipsed Bon long time ago.
@jimdavison4077 Жыл бұрын
@@taekwondotime they are not in competition, just two very different eras with the music speaking for itself. That said Bob and Angus had a relationship Brian and Angus never reached. Of course Angus was so young he kind of idolized Bon too..
@taekwondotime Жыл бұрын
All I'm saying is people keep going back to Bon, but Brian has been with the band 5x longer. Nearly every top AC/DC hit song is with Brian singing. People need to move on and acknowledge that Brian has been the guy. If you had to pick one guy, he's the lead singer. He's the voice of AC/DC.@@jimdavison4077

Just for perspective, in this video, we see footage of the greatest rhythm guitar player in rock & roll, Malcolm Young. He was only running on auto- pilot at this gig. Just like most of them on the Black Ice tour. He was starting to succumb to the affects of dementia. Angus had to remind him what song was next, what chords to play, everything! Not a bad effort if you ask me!
@ЕвгенийКуликов-м6и Жыл бұрын
At 2017 there was cool (and weird) situation with em - Malcolm Young died, Phil Rudd was still in the jail, Brian Johnson went deaf, and Angus Young disappeared somewhere. And despite this they recorded a new album, he-he.
