To be honest...AC/DC may very well be the best live act in the history of music. They play absolutely flawlessly, and Brian's vocals are always on point. Angus Young....what can we say about him. Incredible guitar player and probably the best performing lead guitar of all time. They are the standard that all musical performances should be held to...and to be honest, nobody, and I mean NOBODY today comes even remotely close.
@diegrinder6851 Жыл бұрын
Malcom Young though, he's always been the real artistic genius and he's the dynamo in the back driving the entire sound. Everyone kinda forgets because Brian and Angus are up front doing their jobs to draw all the attention; but Malcom is the little guy in the back often overshadowed by his own guitar, that is the true driving force behind every song. Malcom is laying down the rhythm that controls it all, that the others (including the massive audience) is all feeding off of. Every single song that AC/DC ever wrote, recorded or performed was being controlled by little head banging Malcom in the back, his tempo, his energy and his direction on every single song. The little beating heart of a giant beast.

The sign of musical greatness lies in longevity. The fact that third and fourth gen listeners of AC/DC, and other great rock bands, are still falling in love with and rocking out to these classics is amazing and a true testament to the existence of Rock and Roll. Styles come and go but the spirit of Rock, having been released 70 years ago, can never be sealed away again. Even if the Earth is doomed tomorrow, there's still that copy of Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B Goode' on the voyager probes for someone to find. Something will find it and Rock will rise once again.
