Angus is technically amazing. Old rock guitar player here. Back in the day I was obsessed with how Angus could be so physically active while still being able to play without losing a light touch on both his grip of the pick and his fingering on neck. You can see that when he slows down and is more standing there and playing it’s not because the picking requires him to but because he needs to catch his breath. How in the hell was able to play that accurately flying around the stage or standing out of breath breathing hard blows me away.

The thing about ACDC for me is that, while it may not be the most complex bits of music, they love what they do and it's apparent that they love what they do. Even when you're not listening to a live performance and you're just listening to a recorded version it comes through and people really respond to that I think.

When I watch the song on KZbin, the video clip of the group, the crowd n the Super Marvels just gel into one of the best choreographed songs of all time. Can u imagine being in that mosh pit ? Just crazy insane . One of the best ever pieces put together. Brian plays his body n smile to the crowd n then his voice sounds like he’s in a studio n Angus just does as always- rip into that guitar n lose himself! Superb !

The first time I heard AC/DC was in 1975. I live right outside of Washington DC in Northern VA, and at the time a DC radio station, WAMU, had a show Monday -Friday called Rock And Roll Jukebox. It started at 7:30pm and went to 9:00pm. That is where I heard their song TNT. I fell in love with them at that time. On Friday nights, after this show, I would change the channel to WGTB and a show from 9:00pm to 11:00pm, called the Hard Implosion, and would hear more AC/DC. Neither of these stations are around anymore. WAMU was with American University, and WGTB was with Georgetown University. Two of the best rock/hard rock stations I have ever heard, until Sirius/XM came around. The vast majority of the rock and hard rock albums I bought were because of these two radio stations.

At first I didn’t know what you meant when you kept saying “both”. (Ie both of them) Phil on drums has so much style and swing in his playing plus you can spot him smoking a cig while playing too sometimes which to me is something distinctive itself. Malcolm is known the world over for his hard hitting, thick stringed, masterful rhythm playing. Cliff is locked in with both Mal and Phil for the most solid rockin bass lines ever. You were referring to both front men but don’t forget the back line.

Im gonna tell ya right now: IF they tour again, you better do whatever you can to go. We are lucky they released POWR UP a few years back. Brilliant how they worked the late Malcolm's guitar recordings into it, and it is a helluva album. These guys have transcended 6 decades and are the MOST fun band you will EVER see live. Dress in your best 80s black concert shirt and "get loaded out of your mind" with 80,000 of your closest friends. Charge it, borrow it, just go--you can always pay it back, but you may never get the chance to see the best rock and roll band of all time. Let's just hope they tour the stadiums again. I didn't go last time around, and their last concert with Brian Johnson was in my hometown. Pray to the Gods of Rock these fellas bring it in 2024 🏟 🧨 🎸 ⚡️ 🤘

What the world doesn’t realise just yet is that we have just witnessed the sunset of a true monster rock and roll band. AC/DC are no longer but are also still recent history. I think we are still in denial that they no longer play. In the not so distant future we will come to realise we have lost a monster and we will be mourning the loss of the most significant rock and roll band in history.
