I just want to take a moment and say, Chris Slade was exactly what AC/DC needed at the time; someone to hit the drums heavy and give AC/DC the egde when heavy metal acts were making the scene. Sure he didnt have that fitting groove that Phil Rudd possessed, but was definitely a step up from Simon Wright. Wright was fine and did his part, but was one demensional and lacked flare (I heard he was good in Dio, but Acca Dacca he wasnt cut out for). Slade we salute you!

One of the greatest live rock performances I've ever heard. Chris Slade on drums, Angus doing his Chuck Berry stomp. You just can't beat it with a (drum) stick. I've seen almost all of the great classic rock drummers live. In March 69 I went to see the Rascals so I could see their drummer, Dino Danelli, a great jazz rock drummer. Guess what two groups opened up for them. Their first US concert and no one in the US had heard of them. The Who and Cream. That was Keith Moon and Ginger Baker. I saw Mitch Mitchell, Santana's Michael Shrieve, Tull's Clive Baker, Yes' Bill Buford and Alan White, Liberty Devitto with Billy Joel, John Bonham, Ansley Dunbar with Zappa and an incredible drummer most of you never heard of, who was more of an influence on my drumming than all of those drummers combined. His name was Gary Driscol. For years Gary played with Ronnie James Dio in his first band, Ronnie Dio and the Profits. John Bonham's foot play never would have been great if not for either the direct, or indirect, influence of Gary. He had the greatest foot I ever heard and no drummer, not Bonham or anyone else could touch him. Other than watching Gary dozens of times, I never saw a performance as great as Chris Slade on Money Talks. Absolute perfection. He found a perfect pocket and never left it. Drove the song, the lead guitar and the vocals and never got in their way. Just groove perfection.

Probably the best show ever giving by the band, we feel That Brian, Angus or Malcolm are completely... connected, on symbiosys and habitated by the music, at the limit of the trans sometimes for Angus !!! For example, the show they played at powertrip last week is totaly ugly, mechanic and i saw some tired men, attention, there is 35 years between those 2 shows but the live at Donington is near the absolute perfection, it's for example, the HAARP's Muse show at Wembley... I understand completely that when you'are on earth touring, playing each day the same songs, it's impossible and natural to be tired and boring, playing mechanichely your songs but sometimes, all the conditions are reunited for purpose a show totaly perfect and this was the case this evenig at Donington ! a jewell !!!

@ Southern American Lady Rocker Fan- yes this song must be underrated- I remember in high school even the non- ACD fans liked this song and seemed to prefer it to thunderstruck
