@layman119410 жыл бұрын
THANK GOD CHRIS SLADE IS BACK!!!! Chris Slade is a machine behind the drums. His talent goes way beyond the Phil Rudd 4/4 beat..However, Slade can keep it simple when needed and play a mean and solid 4/4 beat as well. I like Rudd's simple drumming, but Slade is the right fit. I have waited 20 years for him to return. THANK THE GOOD LORD ABOVE!!!!! Slade is the reason I play PAISTE cymbals.....Thanks Slade!!!! The Thunder Stuck video caused me to not only play Paiste cymbals, but to become a drummer...You are the man!!!!!
@johnscottyward458810 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree,I like Simon Wright as well! Some tosser on another thread told me Simon Wright was AC/DC’s worst drummer ever! Funny when Simon Wright appears on one of their top selling albums "Who made Who" ironically some of those songs appear on an album the critics slammed-Fly On The Wall! I think some Aussies are pissed that all AC/DC personnel at present are not Australian born!
@mathewpitt9310 жыл бұрын
John Ward Umm....simom wright isn't a good drummer. Phill is AC/DC! He's their first proper drummer (excluding Larry). Chris Slade is really good, but we all prefer Phill! Who cares if they're not Australian born! They don't need to be Australian born to be an Australian band! Take Slash for an example, He's English but you yanks still claim him as your own!
10 жыл бұрын
The Pitster_93 Simon isn't a good drummer? Try watching "Holy Diver Live" from the great Ronnie James DIO... Maybe you just don't like him on ACDC, but he is an awesome drummer.
@RNRDamnation9 жыл бұрын
anthony lay Rudder also plays Paiste....so kinda lame you say that seeing as they both play Paiste...although Slade doesnt seem to use 2002's which irritates me. Is Chris an amazing drummer? HELL YEAH! Donington was the first show I saw..it's etched in my brain. It doesnt matter though because deep down that wasnt really AC/DC. Phil behind the kit is how it should stay...no matter what. Why hasnt the band OFFICALLY announced Slade into the band? It's because he's a backup. This is to ensure that they have a touring drummer. If Rudd gets out of this mess your 20 years of waiting continues since the tour doesnt start till may. Rudd has been in the band for 28 years, and he's been on all the albums you love as well. Killer guy, but Rudd isnt gone. You cant stop the HUMAN METRONOME!
@johnscottyward45889 жыл бұрын
Phil Rudd will be back behind the drumkit when he's done his time, next album then?

The thing I love about AC/DC is that they make me feel like I've been friends with them for years, even though I haven't met them. I feel like I'm having a conversation with them when I watch stuff like interviews even though I've never been able to say anything to them. They always puts a smile on my face and make me happy, ever since I first got into AC/DC before I could walk. thank you AC/DC. You've inspired me as a 17 year old to pick up my guitar, microphone, drums and bass and give it my best shot to make more rock n roll in the world.

Brian sounds absolutely insane on this album, its sad Malcom couldn't be there for it but still a lot of his ideas here. There isn't an album I don't love by ACDC but I gotta say, this is a very underrated album, more consistent than black ice.
