The fact that they went on, at the request of Bon's mother, and became one of the greatest rock bands of all time is the best tribute they could have given Scott.

After Bons death the band gave 10% of all there record sales to his mother until she was reunited with Bon....That's loyalty and respect in highest of high....When your a true musician like me and ACDC you have no choice but to carry on playing. When it's in your DNA you can't stop......Only the other side of life can stop it. But I always wondered how Back in Black would have sounded with Bon singing all the songs on it. Cause Angus and Malcolm had the chords and songs mostly done for back in black already down on paper.....

I first picked up a guitar in 1968.... All my life all I wanted to be was a professional musician. As in many cases mine turned out to be another direction. I became a nurse in 2004... The reason I mention this in the comment section is the incredible professional demeanor and honesty of the members in this band... In all these years as a nurse I've never once encountered this kind of professionalism in my peers, and mid to upper-level providers. The one thing you can say about musicians who truly love their craft, understand that music is about the sum of all parts... Brought together. It's just a damn shame that Health Care can't replicate what this band has done.

As we were walking back to the train he asked me: what was the best song you saw tonight? I said 'Wolfmother - Joker and the Thief' I still haven't recovered from that beating to this very day.

@@adanacman666 No they never played a gig together! Bon just happened to see Geordie play and was so impressed he wanted to have a beer with Brian. Too many myths floating around. Brian talks about his meeting Bon here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJ22Zp2Xoq-lmpo The common story doing the internet traps is "Bon told the band that if something happened to him he wanted Brian to replace him." What a ludicrous lie. Who says that? What the boys said is that Bon thought he was invincible...not some guy forseeing his death thinking of replacements. Anyway, what Malcom does mention in an interview is is that he mentioned this great guy performing and they should go watch the band. They never got to. The first day they met him was the day of his audition.

This might be a little unpopular, but I've always loved the idea of Alan Fryer taking over from Bon. Rumor has it that he was actually hired in Australia when Angus hired Brian in Britain. I can't imagine the guy's disappointment when they came to him saying, "sorry, we hired someone else." No one can argue with Brian's success, but Fryer was a perfect Bon-style singer. When Alan died two years ago (or so), the main thing mentioned in his obituary was that he "almost" was the singer for AC/DC after Bon Scott. RIP to them all, Malcom, Alan and Bon.

I disagree. Black in Black was in the works to be made. The boys already had most of the music. The lyrics would have been different, and the album cover, but had Bon lived it would have been another ACDC sensation. Many like myself mourning Bons death raced to immediately buy it because we just wanted to hear our beloved band again so sad, yet happy they were still powering. Brian did them justice and deserves every respect for taking on such a huge gap to fill. I hate it when people compare the two singers. Real AccaDacca fans don't pitch them against each other.
