WOW!! Your reaction to my all time favorite band was just what I was hoping for. I'm SOOO glad you get it. They are the REAL DEAL!! For someone who had never seen or heard them, your description of them at the end was pinpoint perfect!! Just straight forward, hard driving, no bullshit rock n roll. PERIOD!! Thank You PinkMetalHead!! These guys are so down to earth and never cared about styles, trends, celebrity and the red carpet lifestyle. They are so genuine and that is a really rare thing in today's music world. They just stuck to their guns and did what they wanted by not changing with the times and being true to themselves, and not doing what the record companies wanted them to do. Over time people appreciated them for doing just that, even when the music media never thought much of them until much much later in their careers. That's why 45-50 year old mom's and dad's are taking their young kids to see this awesome band because they know there will never be nothing like AC/DC in their kids lifetime again. Back In Black is the 2nd highest selling album of all time behind Michael Jackson's Thriller for God's sake! The first time my older brother played them for me, I was blown away. The first time I saw them on TV was in 1978 on The Midnight Special playing "Sin City", I was blown away. The first time I saw them live in 1980 on the Back In Black Tour when I was 12, I was blown away and continued to get blown away the next 9 times I saw them live, the last 2 being in 2015 & '16's Rock Or Bust Tour. This band is what has made me happy for the last 40 of my 50 years. During good and bad times, and all times they have always made me happy with their music more than ANY other band ever has. To me, this is what a rock n roll band should sound like, and I knew it the first time I heard them. This is probably the end of the band. I always wondered as far back as 2000 or so how AC/DC might come to an end. The last 3 years have been tough on the them, especially with the recent passing of George and Malcolm Young. Who knows what the future holds for AC/DC, but whatever Angus decides for the band, it's been a hell of a run and I will support him no matter what. The only 4 things that have meant EVERYTHING to me in my lifetime are God, my family, my favorite sport of motocross racing and AC/DC. Thanks AC/DC for the soundtrack to my life and to ALL the members who have ever played in this band, God Bless You All!! "Let There Be Rock"

PinkMetalHead, PLEASE check out the first time I ever saw the band on TV as a ten year old by watching AC/DC "Sin City" Midnight Special with original singer Bon Scott. I think you will enjoy this as much as the For Those About To Rock video, especially Angus's never ending energy. A MUST SEE!!

Oh man, I missed this reaction when you first released it, but I'm so glad I came back and watched it. You are so spot on regarding AC/DC and their live performance. They were the first concert I ever went to (way back in '88!) and they just kicked all kinds of ass. Seen them a few times, and very few performances out of the dozens (hundreds?) I've seen since have come close to the energy and intensity of AC/DC live. They were, pardon the pun, electrifying. Malcolm Young was one of the greatest rhythm guitarists in the history of rock music; he will certainly be missed.

Great vid, Pink. You hit it right on the head, too. AC/DC doesn't need any of the frippery so many modern performers use. Five guys, two amazing guitars, one pulsating bass, one seriously planted drummer, and one guy with vocal chords made of razor blades. What's not to love about that? ^_~ Cheers! And yes, definitely check out some of Bonn Scott's work, it was awesome, too! RIP Malcolm Young!

AC/DC is definitely one of the most Epic live shows. Malcolm's brother Angus {Crazy Guitarist} runs around stomping, strutting, headbanging, climbing, jumping and otherwise being the greatest hype Man in Rock/Metal... WHILE playing some of the greatest speed riffs ever. I'd like to suggest some Early AC/DC 'Ride On' or 'T.N.T.' with their original singer Bon Scott who died in 1980. I'd like to think he greeted Malcolm as a brother on the other side.

Saw AC/DC live on their Razor's Edge Monsters of Rock European Tour in Modena, Italy...The Black Crowes, Queensryche, Metallica, and AC/DC. For this song in particular, there were 21 cannons on the top of the stage. If you've seen the videos for AC/DC at the Donnington Fest, it was the same tour. Epic. And your comments about passing along this music to younger folks...I took my kid to see their Black Ice tour.

R.I.P. Malcolm. Saw the mighty AC/DC 7 times from 1983 thru 1991. My good friend Dave kleindel, told me to stand close to the cannons, haha, lost 10% of my hearing in my left ear...Well worth it... My suggestion is, if you ever do AC/DC you must have Bon Scott as well... "Let there be rock" and "it's a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll" is a good start. Keep up the awesome work. I turned 50 today, and could not be happier then to see the younger generation enjoying Metal as much as I and millions of teens did back in the 70's, 80's, 90's and current...

I'm glad you liked this song. AC/DC is, from my experience, the loudest, biggest energy bands I've ever seen. If you saw them in an indoor arena, that song was their finale at every show I've seen (I think 6 times for me). My ears would be ringing for days afterwards, and my voice would be hoarse for a couple days from screaming at their show. The thing I didn't hear you mention were the large cannons they fire during this song. To see it live is, well, indescribably awesome. Those cannons are ridiculously loud, and the boom when fired reverberates right through you. I was lucky to be a member of a ticket club in my state, which pulled great tickets to tons of bands and gave their members dibs on the best tickets before they went on sale, so I was usually on main floor in the 1st 10 rows. I would love to see your reaction to Highway to hell, with Bon Scott as their original singer. RIP Bon and Malcolm.

I'm a fortunate guy... I got to see AC/DC twice. Once; in Knoxvi!lle, Tennessee... Bon Scott was the lead singer. He carried Angus all the way around the lower floor level on his shoulders, while Angus was blistering the faces of the fans with a shredding solo, as they were crowding around them. Angus never missed a note; as Bonn bulled his way through the crowd, even as fans were grabbing and snatching at Angus' guitar. Amazing show!!! The second time I saw them was in Bad Kretuznach, West Germany. The Monsters of Rock concert, in 1984. I was stationed there as a so!dier, and decided to go to the show. Brian Johnson was their new singer, and AC/DC was the headliner for the heavyweight line up. The festival was held at a soccer stadium, and you literally could not turn around; we were packed in there like sardines! The boys closed the show with Hell's Bells; while Brian hammered away on this GIANTIC bell. Which show was the best? Why... I loved them both. Bonn brought AC/DC to the summit of stardom, and their tribute to a fallen comrade took them to the top. Their no nonsense brand of hard rock; rib-crunching, and a sonic punch-in- the- face, remained constant throughout that hard time. And they never looked back... This is coming from a guy who got his first AC/DC album (Let There be Rock) on 8 track tape... You know what that is... Right? AC/DC has been rockin' since the mid-seventies; so stand up and be counted, for what you're about to receive! Love your channel, Ms. Pink... Until we speak again, my friend...

Another favorite AC/DC song of mine that I thought you might want to react to their music video is "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll." I'm Australian and my parents were big fans of AC/DC, having been in their late teens and early 20s in the 70s when the band began, so I grew up with AC/DC (as well as other Australian bands of that time). Every time the extended family gets together AC/DC is always played - lots of drinking, lots of dancing, lots of singing among my uncles and aunties... and lots of reminiscing too... If I woke up on the weekend and heard AC/DC i knew the whole day would be spent cleaning or gardening. My parents, and most of my uncles and aunties, have visited Bon Scotts grave (its not far from where I grew up), so the band is clearly very loved in my family hahah. My father also saw them perform Its A Long Way To The Top on the flatbed through Swanston-street, Melbourne, and still have my dads High Voltage and TNT vinyls as well - both still play perfectly. RIP Malcolm, George and Bon.

Saw AC/DC at Houston's Astroworld back in about 1984. It was AWESOME! I was about 14 and I won't forget it. Malcolm was my favorite. He played such a great rhythm guitar. We miss you Bon and Mal.

Commenting in 2020. I'm 53. I've been a huge fan since I heard them the first time on vinyl around 1977. Seen them 6 times live. I'm amazed I don't have hearing aids. Today's "hard rock" artists couldn't carry these guys jocks. AC/DC will be being listened to a hundred years from now. Timeless. Priceless. Iconic. Classic.

I have had the priviledge of seeing ACDC 3 times...in1984 at Nurnberg Germany Monsters of Rock...in 85 in Biloxi Miss..and again in 86 or 87 in Lake Charles La....they delivered a hair raising concert each and every time...150% stage show each time.

I heard some other AC/DC songs on the radio during the late-1970s (although I did not know who they were at that time). The first AC/DC music video that I watched on MTV, was for the song, "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You!)". The guitar solo by Angus Young, and the tempo change midway through the song (most likely to appeal to the Punk Rock listeners at that time), along with the emotional, energetic Blues-style guitar solo, followed by the unforgettable extended conclusion to the song, really floored me as a viewer and a listener. It is one of the best musical performances in Rock music history. It is easy to see why AC/DC was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

You have been inducted into AC/DC fandom! I’m their biggest fan! My pic is my tattoo of Angus Young. I’ve been a fan since ‘75. Yeah I’m old. Lol. I was 6 when I first heard it. My brother who is 12 years older than me was playing it and I fell in love. They are the epitome of iconic metal!

I grew up on ACDC. Seen them in concert 6 times, rocked like hell every damn time, was lucky enough to go on the Rock and Roll Train tour with Brian before Axl Rose came in too. Luckily the old band is back n studio with Brian (Singer) for the new album coming, most of the old band members too, except Malcolm, unfortunately, he will be there in spirit though.

The concert I went too, back in the day, was at Greensboro coliseum N.C. This was the final song they played and they had cannon that fired the 21 guns salute at the end. The tiles on the ceiling started to fall. 35 years ago and I still remember. Good times.

This is so damn cool to see :). Great reaction once again. I saw AC/DC live 12 times, and each of those times was some of the most fun i've ever had at concerts. The raw energy was incredible, even when the members had reached over 60 years old! If there was 50,000 at a show, it wasn't 49,998 or 49,999 people jumping up and down in unison and singing, it was the full 50,000! on almost every song haha. They were/are the definition of Rock music. I feel so bad for anyone who hasn't seen them live, because they probably never will again :(. You should see young vids from them in the 70's, talk about ENERGY. Angus (the iconic guitarist in the schoolboy uniform) is a psychopath on stage. It's as if he snorted a mountain of cocaine for breakfast every morning, but it was just his natural energy haha \m/

Legends. The pull up on the amp at the end killed me. I saw them a few years ago. They were great but I would have loved to see them when they were young. Just amazing. RIP VINNIE PAUL THE BRICK WALL!!!

Thank you for doing this video :) Sad times for AC/C fans with the passing of Malcolm and the status of the band. I was fortunate to see them live 4 times 85 , 86 , 91, 96 Tours.....it was everything you describe watching this vid.

Great review Pink, really. I made the mistake of sitting in front of the cannons during this concert when they came to Houston. I couldn’t hear for 3 days.

Well put. When the main riff came in at 1:45 I noticed your pupils dilate. At that point I knew you meant every word of this reaction. YOU sum up my feelings towards the band pretty much exactly. Thanks Pink :)
