I just used this for the first time the other day. HVAC contractor for 30 years. I followed the instructions exactly. When I went to finish tightening the yellow hose after purging the majority of the product leaked out before before I could finish tightening the fitting. It seemed the contents were under pressure. Made a big mess and I doubt anything made it into the system. I service systems at high altitudes above 5000ft so obviously less atmospheric pressure here than where it was manufactured. Sent an email to Rector seal tech. Still waiting for a reply.

I use this sealer and it work, but now i want to wash the system, cleaning my unit can cause a leak?

Yes, this works for nearly all refrigerants. For R134a, however, if it is an appliance we have ½ oz AC Leak Freeze in a syringe and in PRO delivery system. rectorseal.com/product/ac-leak-freeze/
