Nice video encompassing the latest news and rumours. Maignan: With two weeks until the transfer deadline, he isn’t going anywhere and for reasons more than one. Every football coach will tell you that championship clubs worthy of the title must have a strong spine from the goal posts onward: strong goalie, central defender, central midfielder and centre forward. I believe this Milan score 2/4 on that rating scale, which brings me to the question of the “centravanti” position currently occupied by Giroud. Okafor, similarly to Pulisic, was brought in because he can fulfill multiple forward roles and systems - though which position is yet to be determined by Pioli, as the player is still working up to full conditioning. Giroud will be the starter on August 21 but Milan need a strong deputy and future starter. In order for the club to bring in someone, Origi needs to leave and Colombo loaned out. Taremi is the player Milan want and Milan is the club Taremi wants - but Milan must first sell to meet Porto’s asking price. Weirder things have happened, but I think Lukaku to Milan is nothing more than a vicious rumour. The player possesses every predisposition needed in a “bomber” - but his questionable physical condition and mental disposition are toxic and incompatible with Milanismo. In summary, I believe Milan have a world-class goaltender, the most complete midfield in a long time, and centre forwards they can get away with for one more year - but the real concern for me is central defence and the defence in general. Last year, the club scored the same amount of goals as their championship year but conceded 40% more. The problem with taremi is that he is almost 32 yo and at the end of august theorically will enter in his last year contract with porto so 30 mln is way too much, 10/15 i think are enough for him, the name for now is absolutely lukaku, think if he will score for us against inter 😁 cardinale is kinda friend with chealsea american propriety so there is a possibility to got it at the same formula as inter last year, also ely wahi still there and he is good milan keeped an eye on him months ago so who knows... 👀 Also for the right back there is jimenez the 18 yo guy from real madrid but rumors saying that he thinked pioli to give him a chance in the first team so he is unhappy and he thinking already to go away from milan so the choice is up to pioli,maybe he can be as theo years ago if pioli give him the chances

Taremi just turned 31, these days that age is nothing especially for players who are prolific. If we get him and he can provide half those stats for us for next 3 4 years it's a win. That allows us to move out giroud and get some cheap guys who can turn into 100 mil players as taremi will be holding the front line. The must important sign is to unsign Origi. An striker is important, I really like Giroud but I believe he's not up to play all games this season . As long as we have Origi we'll not have a new striker. Right now, for me is more likely to see Origi playing some games as a starter than we getting another striker. Hope I'm wrong. Btw, nobody is talking about this, but Pioli said in more than once, that he wants to test Pulisic behind the striker. Last time he talked about it, he said that once he sought that Chukwueze is ready, he's gonna try Pulisic behind the striker, the same line that brings Reijinders playing Tonali's previous position of box to box (which brought the rumour of he playing defensively), and bennacer and krunic as the creatives defensive midfielders. I think we need a cdm lb and cb more than a striker. I think we should sign a striker only loan (not spend on striker. ) Another wild transfer that comes to my mind is that if we can bring aymeric laporte from man city on a loan with option to buy it would be crazy. He is in his prime at 29 yrs of age, experienced and most importantly wants more gametime.He would be perfect addition, he is also a left footed cb.

That's why Maldini sensed something was amiss within the team last season. He noticed the coach's inadequacy. This season will determine how he can enhance AC Milan's playstyle. I doubt he will change much from last season, losing to inferior teams and benching players who should be starting. We should focus on playing better as a team instead of listening to egos. I know this is crazy, but what Milan needs is a psychology expert. Kind of like how Tennis players have. Tactical errors or mistakes in game is one thing. But to sense the mental collapse of a team and playing like teenagers is highly infuriating. Pioli is good but not good enough to ignite that spark. They need someone specific for that behind the scene analysis and making the players thirsty to win. As for Lukaku, I see your point, but not sure Milan want to rely on another Çanhanoglu like player. Someone who might turn on you. But maybe on loan might be a good idea. Keep him on leash. However, that might tarnish Milan’s image by relying on suspicious players. I don’t know.

More likely Chukwueze will be deputy for Pulisic on the right but with options on either side. look at both their games, Puli is much more sophisticated, Chukwueze is exciting but still maturing his decision making. We will need both plenty of though.

I hate saying this but Giroud is too old to play most games plus we could see at the end of last season and during this pre-season that he can't get at the end of passes or make great runs anymore. I'd prefer Taremi as replacement but Lukaku would be interesting. Okafor: needs to play. Not sure what position, probably CF for now. Pulisic: too good to be a backup. He must play and as a creative (central) mid. CDK: I hope we can at least recoup our money. If anyone can turn him around, it's Gasperini. Tonali: Happy for him. I will pass on Lukaku, it seems that he creates waves in the locker room, I could be wrong though. The focus should be in the back line right now, and integrating the offense we already have. I am certain we will create enough opportunities for Giroud, and our wingers will score too. The personalities in the locker room appear to be getting along and I don’t want difficult players coming in to disrupt that.
