BIG WILL: YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Thanks to you, I have AC again on my 2011 Sonata. You probably saved me $250 at LEAST! Probably over $300 compared to having a dealer solve it. This is such an easy fix, yet I'm pretty sure my dealer would have skinned me alive. NOTE: Actually, I didn't even change the part. I remembered your comment at 2:53 about troubleshooting it. When I noticed how dirty it was, I sprayed the contacts really well with brake cleaner. Rubbed a Q-Tip on them a little bit, and then finished up with some MAF Sensor Cleaner (because this part reminds me of how a MAF sensor looks). AC works like a champ now. It's 88F today and I'm cool as a cuke in my driveway, with my windows rolled up. Except for a little aerosol spray that I already had, I didn't have to buy anything at all. You are THE MAN!! Liked, subscribed, and turned on the bell!

If your fans works it's your AC pressure higher than 55 psi leak some out until it's start freeze in park if u don't have a gauge.

Hello, Great video mate. Just one question, I have been having a problem in my car. When I turn on the AC the blower fan doesnt comes on immediately, just when the engine temperature is high. I have to sit with no AC for the first 15 mins of run. It is the same problem?

Good fix.I havemy AC cooling well when driving, early moving and evening but when idling cooling is less,could this be a radiator fan resistor faulty?. Note fan not works in cold weather and sometimes slowly spinning but immediately but on hot weather

Hello...how about a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander that stops blowing cold air when I'm stopped at a red light or stop and go traffic??? Once I get going, it starts blowing cold air again. REALLY annoying! I have to put it in neutral and rev up the engine when I'm stopped, or I will bake. Freon HAS been properly vacuum and recharged...Any suggestions? Thanks!

@fidencioyanez2376 your cooling fan, condenser or dryer may not be working properly. You can start by having the system vacuum and check for leaks. There should be a little glass window on the ac line check to see if it's cloudy or foamy, the system may have moisture in it. You probably have a vacume problem with a door inside your cooling box. There is foam around the door edges that get sticky cause the door to stay shut.

I have same issue with my Veloster 2013 the feron level is good and the compressor is working when the car stop it doesn't cool as much as when i drive it. I went to Hyundai parts store and they told me that the resistor has nothing to do with it and that it's the Senssor Assy need to be replaced. I did replace it and i see a little improvement. Idk if i should change the Resistor too !

The risister allows the cooling fan to change speed according to the situation so if it is not working properly your fan may not operate at the speed it needs to when the A C is running which won't move enough air through the radiator and condenser to cool them down. Same issue with my 2011 Sonata, but even after installing the new resistor, the fan only comes on when needed for the radiator it seems. Is there a fuse? Air is really cold when I'm on the highway too, but I understand that's bc of the air being rammed through. Going to wiggle the wires to see if it's that. thanks for sharing the knowledge

On my 2011 srx The AC work only some of the times. Had it diagnosed and everything was good. But still only blows cold air sometimes. I replaced the door bend motor because I noticed only the passenger side was blowing cold air and not the driver side. But it also blows cold air some of the times. Help anyone

First off is the fan coming on when you turn on the a/c? fan in the front by the radiator should come on and the fan inside that blows the air inside the car.

Check if the blower is coming on, if it is then your air duct bypass door may not be working. If it's not coming on then check your fuse and relay you can as also try different air settings ie. Foot, face, etc.

If you put a new blower motor in and you still aren’t getting any kind of air check the blower relay switch, usually close to the blower itself.

Great video, I was hopping it would help me, but hate to say it did not, have a similar problem on a 2005 Honda Accord 2.4 4cyl ac work fine NO PROBLEM while I'm driving or at a stop, no problem, but when the summer comes AND TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE the ac only cools while driving, blower just blows regular air while I'm at a stop, but once I take of, (driving) street or freeway, it air gets cold,,,I clean the condenser not dirty, both fans go on when ac is turn on, no overheating, not sure what could be wrong, if any one can help, it would be much appreciated.

@Toishin Gao I've also seen that problem and seems like not even the dealership have any answers. Try running it at home and have someone spray water on the condenser to see if it gets any cooler. It could be a air flow issue providing everything else is ok. Freon level, Compressor/ Clutch, Compressor belt and cabin filter

I wash the condenser yesterday with the pressure nozzle on the water hose, and it was clean, just did it anyway, as far as the air flow,,is good, nothing blocking it's path if the Freon level we're to be low,,,would't it not cool at all, cause like I mention, it works fine on not so hot days or at nigh...

@@toishingao176 My Subaru issue is similar to yours. High RPMs it works great. Temps under 70 outside and it works. Over 70 and I need high RPMs. I had a shop look into and they found nothing of use. They added minimal Freon and it worked for a week or so. As time goes by, the RPMs needed gets higher. Did you ever figure out your issue?

Check to see if your fan is connected directly to the engine. Be sure to turn off your ignition when doing so

I have a piece of crap boss that is mad at me for complaining that the AC doesn't work in the delivery van.... That idiot gets in tge van and drives it around the block and comes back and tells me THE AC WORKS! STOP COMPLAINING! My car also has a similar problem to this. The AC only blows cold when it is temperate or cold out side, but won't blow cold air when it's hot out. It's also like this when traffic is stop and go. Could this fix that problem? Thanks!

That could be a part of the problem. Run your car with the AC on and check if the fan is on, you can also use a hose to spray water through the grill on the condenser and see if it starts to blow cold.
