I was having a problem and it’s strange no one talked about it, my AC doesn’t kick in unless i rev up otherwise it keeps tweaking while idling. But thankfully this fixed it

I just put in a new ac compressor, new refrigerant, checked if there was leaks. But A/c is still Blowing hot air. Could A/C relay be the problem? I have a 07’ Toyota Corolla

I have a 2001 nissan xterra. I charged the Ac.. and the compressor works (turns on) but blows warm air… and it doesn’t cycle off and on. Any ideas? Thanks !

@@oddtimekeeper that’s the problem u over jammed the systym ur compressor will die soon very soon don’t use ac have it reserviced by ac shop with ac machine

I have a 2009 dodge challenger my whole ac unit stopped working I had no controls on any of my knobs. I had replaced my relay for the ac and it didn’t work. So then I took some copper wire and put it on a switch to turn it on and off. Is there a fix to take my jumper wire and switch off and actually fix my ac with a relay? I’m so lost with this issue I’ve tried so freaking hard I’m just worried about a fire or something while I’m driving

I can move the clutch freely when turned off, but when i turn the Car on and turn AC on it doesn't turn, so is it the Fuse?

No why ru trying to turn it by hand start the car and turn the ac on of clutch engages it working

my 2016 Veloster haveing AC issues! and its not the relay the issue is the relays not getting power from the car to tell it to kick on! any ideas why?

@RB The Mechanic I figured it out it was the climent control board. I took it apart and probed around with multimeter but didn't see any issues and put it all back together and it started working again. If it happens again I will change out the whole climent control

Could the clutch relay be the cause that whenever my A/C was already on and at the moment the compressor should kick in, it doesn't start unless I turn the A/C button off and on again or if I step more on the gas pedal. I look forward to your advise

Ac relay is very very common failure it can be faulty try and replace it

​@@RBTheMechanicI have an accord and was sitting in my car at work and the cold air stopped almost instantly. Accord have 3 different relays for the AC but I thought for sure it had to be the compressor and then I watched your video. I just ordered 3 from amazon for $12.39 so here's hoping. Can a plugged up cabin air filter cause those relays to go bad? I just bought the car and had not checked the cabin air filter and needless to say it was completely clogged up. It's just weird how my air went from cold cold to warm within a second or two. Thanks for the video bro, I'll come back and update once i get the relays.

My car is a Chevy Malibu 2004 and it doesn’t do anything at all. The whole climate control doesn’t even react to any of the buttons I press. No air at all no sound and it it just seems dead. Can a relay be the issue ?

Start with check all fuses

@@RBTheMechanic unfortunately the relays seem to be good and the fuses . Smacked the hell out of the bottom of the glove department to see if that kicks the fan blower but nothing. The little button that has the snow ❄️ flake symbol doesn’t light up at all but everything else does but nothing happens at all when turning knobs or pressing the buttons . I think my car might need that $800 plus option to fix and hell tf no lol. I’ll drive it the way it is. Broken and freezing 🥶. Smh 🤦‍♂️

What would you think is wrong with my ac I recharged it the other day and it doesn’t blow cold air no more but I can hear the ac compressor turn on and the clutch engage but no cold air would it be a fuse or relay? It’s a 2003 INFINITI G35 sedan

Ok did u try to see if the low side line get cold with ac on ? Check that some time system works it gets cold but ur bled door motor could be stuck on heat side so try check that first if it engages it should make cold

@@NanoFierros how ru recharging? How much Freon ru adding? Best is to recover vaccum for 20 minutes add oil and recharge correct amount after that test the system

Well not the best idea try having it serviced by machine and add some dye just once there’s any leaks and check up on it … I had cases where people came to me after using cans either it worked or it didn’t or it got cold hot cold hot which causes the air in system to cause diffrent symptom so best option and START would be so the service using ac machine

Too long of process to do a test on relay better to swap it with another one if system works then ur relay was no good

Easy to check. Use a multimeter and put the leads across the two parallel pins. You should get a resistance less than 200 Ohms. Above that and you have a bad relay.

I have a 96 honda civic, i bought a new compressor clutch relay and the compressor still doesnt engage. I brought it to the workshop today and the mechanic said there is no ground for my relay. Could it be a wiring problem?

@@RBTheMechanic i got an update, i brought it to check the wiring, mechanic said the wiring are all good and asked me if i ever messed with the car's computer. I did swap out my old ECU because my of my distributor not getting power and wasnt able to start the engine. After swapping the ECU, the car works fine and I have AC. 2 months later, my compressor clutch doesn't engage and now i have no AC. I dont know what seems to be the problem here.

Today, the clutch engaged and after 5 minutes drive, it stopped again. As i know, i still have pressure in the system and freon inside.
