I had the same experience when I recorded a p50 for the first time last summer, I had no ear protection, and it made my ears hurt, and in return it made the siren I recorded after sound quiet asf, either that, or sentry’s just aren’t that loud

If someone asks why da f@ck does it wind up, and sounding in deeper tone, its because it runs on 280v i belive not on 480v

@@k.a.r.s.It could be Ex LaSalle Exelon, specifically LS17. The windup is 208V and when it gets to full pitch, I compared the 2 and they sound IDENTICAL. I believe it is, I could be wrong though.
