I think you leave the $1,000 out because it is already the base value. Like (100%) if you had $1,000 X 140% = $1,400. Even if you calculate it with the $1,000 X (1.05)^7 it still equals the same. Also you need a good $20 calculator with the symbol yx, 👍

wait, wait, wait. For example 1, how did u worked (1.05)^7 to get $1,407.10 the same for example 2.......? In other words, did u multiply 1.05 and 7 and multiply 1000?

1.05 is raised to the 7 power, just multiply...1.05 by 1.05 by 1.05 by 1.05...seven times. A lot of videos skip that part. Finally, multiply by 1,000.
