Martin Scorsese is attached to a biographical film based upon the life and career of Frank Sinatra. The project has been in the gestation stage for approximately five years awaiting script revisions. Wouldn't Downey be a potentially good choice for Sinatra in his middle years? He portrayed Chaplin twenty years ago in Attenborough's film biography from his twenties to his eighties and was nominated for an Academy Award. Couldn't he duplicate the magic for Sinatra?
