@@kaypippin7936I enjoy a lot of traditional country going clean back to Hank Sr. It’s hard to think about 80’s country without Randy Travis. I’m just glad to see the music returning to its traditional forms and in many ways, away from the pop garbage that has been mass produced in Nashville since at least the early 2000’s

As far as MODERN country goes he's right. Posty is not only singing REAL country music he even sounds better then most of them. Obviously is not competing with Hagard Waylon Strait Jackson I mean I could go on with the 70s- early 2000s but what we have today isn't country and they can barely sing and that's not their fault by anymeans its just mainstream bs now days

He’s not taking over, just jumping on a trend. Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, and many others helped push country music back to the mainstream. Pop artists crossing over or dabbling in country is a money grab. That said, Post Malone is a good artist and could make almost any music out there, but I’m not surprised by any artists “going country” at this point. In a few years, when country artists are the only ones left making country AGAIN, these pop artists will go back to their genre.
@TheRealSandman
@TheRealSandman 6 ай бұрын
@@Factsfeelings-lb1kh I think Post is different because he's always said he grew up on country music & has always had a deep love for it. The timing may be jumping on the trend, but I reckon he'll be able to do it better than most other pop artists, due to the fact he actually loves the music.

To me, Post represents one of the first generations that grew up with music sharing online. Literally every genre became immediately accessible for free for the first time ever. Im in my early 30s and grew up making burnt CDs with country, rock, and rap all mixed in. Artists are influenced by so many different types of music these days so its been cool to watch him go in so many different directions with his music. Shit go listen to “Feeling Whitney” from his first album and you knew he had a country album in him one day

He's something most old school country fans would reject, but you can't deny his talent. He's kept it country ❤❤❤

I am loving this song. I would love to hear a cover of Forever Amen with Randy Travis. He is soulful.... yet haunting yet tender!

God I just really love him! He's so open to any genre and he owns everything he attempts. Gotta say though the boy slid into country like he was born to it ❤

Post, you sexy thang😍💯 Beyond talented! Well done 👍🏼 So many artists try and pull off country music, and fail miserably. Post makes it look like a walk in the park😍💯
