RIP phone. I appreciate that we still got a video of the trip (yay friends!). And I'm really sorry for the stress and feelings of loss that caused. Glad you got a new phone though!

I'm not terribly attached to objects, fortunately. What was more annoying was not having a way to take the footage I wanted lol! And, turns out my nice camera has TERRIBLE motion stabilization so I couldn't use any of that footage either. Whoops! Now I know!

“Dog-friendly national parks”?! Amazing!! Okay, here’s an idea for your next video: “Donkey-sitting With Dogs” (while we explore … ;-) … ) Thanks for this awesome tour, and always unexpectedly indispensable content! Your guest videographers did great!

I've spent many weeks in Acadia over the years with my dogs....so many great hikes for dogs. Next time look at the trails on the Quiet Side of the island, Beech Mt is one of my favorites. It's a fun place but is sooo crowded in the busy season. Best to go in late Fall or Spring to avoid the heat and the crowds.

I'll definitely be back so I'll have to check that area out! Thanks Cindy!

Wow, that does seem like a really nice park! The time of year and avoiding other visitors in the footage probably helps, but it looks like you were really in nature and it wasn't too busy!

Hi Laura, looks like a Blast. Nature at it's best. QUESTION: I was just watching a video you gave to me called, Training Deep Pressure Therapy. Very Thoroughly done.. I always thought when my SD Finn is laying on me, there should not been a cue such as the word 'Help' I wanted him to see me crying or screaming and just get on me. It would seem to make it alot easier with a cue. But some one told me a long time ago the dog should sense the distress and go into action. I would rather Use a cue 'HELP' because I scream often from pain but DON'T need DPT always. Is it OK to use a cue?? Thanks so much

Each person and disability is different. If you are able to give a verbal cue during an episode, you can absolutely train it to a verbal. CoolWhip is trained to a verbal.

@@DoggyU thanks Laura, much appreciated. I prefer to use a cue in the midst or beginning of an episode. It was confusing Finn to "help" at the first sign of distress without a cue, because I cry alot and have meltdowns often so he didnt KNOW is this a serious episode or not. Plus I can now cue "help" when I really need/want it. A long winded answer but your answer clarified and simplified his DPT. Finn does it exactly like Cool Whip. Take care Laura🐕‍🦺🐾

So some people have trained their dogs to pee and poo on cue like for if they are about to board a plane etc. Do you know how to teach that to service dogs?

Hi David! Yes - for sure! It's actually true for all permanent disabilities. I made a quick short on it a few months ago to help spread the word about the lifetime access pass. You can find it here: kzbin.infomMynmVlmmU8
