Guitarist's strumming hand would twitch at the speed of light, basically. Strumming speed is decided by the Expert guitar chart, and fretting is determined by Expert guitar pitches (green = index, red = middle, etc, in default handmapping). This is also why Bodhisattva has that "hidden" guitar chart under the BRE, so the animations would still match the audio.

For reference, when he was comparing the two chart files, grains of sand is about 256,000 times bigger, and so it very likely is 300k times bigger than many chart files out there.

Where are you getting those numbers from? Grains of Sand’s chart file is 10 MB (10,692,845 bytes) and the other song is 38 KB (39,148 bytes). Grains of Sand is only about 273 times bigger, not 256,000. It’s still likely that it’s way bigger than other chart files, but not by as much as what you’re saying.

So… the reason the notes can’t be hit is because. every frame, the ai checks for notes in the hit range. If it sees them, it will hit them. Anything under 700 FPS will let some notes slip past the AI. The more you know.
