I can't believe they haven't integrate their OWN scale technology into the grinder...

An excuse for them to charge you extra $300 for their grinder 😂

Why would they integrate a scale into a grinder when they can just utilize the scale they already make as an available option. They would have to increase the price of the grinder for a feature most home uses won’t even bother with.

RPM affects a lot of different aspects of the grinding experience. Lower RPM creates a more consistent grind size (less fines) compared to higher RPM. Depending on the brew method used (drip or espresso) and the final result you want to obtain (body or clarity) you'll not aim for the same RPM... Being just in the middle range (800/1000 RPM) is gonna create a more balanced cup in the end. Also, the faster you're grinding, the less retention you'll have in the chamber. And higher speed means more heat generated when grinding the beans...

Why didn't you operate the grinder? 'cause I would like to hear the operating sound from the machine 😂

Had mine for a month and it sounds fine.

Is hopper detachable?

It is not detachable without tools.

They promised at the beginning of the video to run the grinder so we could hear it. Running it without beans is not useful. SMH. Really trying to justify buying this grinder but this video missing the mark. Still, I’m interested and am just wanting someone to really justify the purchase versus paying $300 more for p64

There are plenty of videos of people running it.

Talk about a Weber Workshop imposter. And they didn’t even integrate their scales? What a joke

Imposter? They worked with Weber to build the grinder.
