40kg is like the difference between a skinny short guy and a tall fat guy lol in all reality the BOP sliders should go up to 200kg that way you can really dial in each vehicle on each track to be close

the 296 has the most wins and podiums on LFM, The Mclaren evo is 2nd

The problem is that when I wrote a post that in my opinion it is not good that, for example, in Kyalami 50-60 percent of the cars in the top splits are Ferraris, one of the guys responsible for LFM BoP commented that it is not important for them that the field should be mixed... I thought this would be the point of a custom BoP, but it seems I was wrong. :)

I think it is important but at the same time most people pick what is easier to drive or easier to setup which is why i think you still get alot of people in the 296. For example the Merc could be faster round Kyalami than the 296 but most people dont have a clue how to set it up.

No, the point of a custom BoP is that the cars should be balanced on pace, not usage. The only way you could ever balance the usage of cars is by forcing picks on people or limiting the amount of each manufacturer allowed, which nobody would ever want to drive as it would be trash racing.

@@jm-holm Jimbo, i don't see your reaction to the content of the video itself. How is it possible that Kryptic ranked the cars into 5 (!!!) different groups? I don't think a good BoP is like that... Even AOR's BoP is much better at the moment, while that's far from perfect too...

@@lowfastracing Then you're not looking very closely since I made a very long comment on the video content. Pretty simple, he chose 5 groups quite arbitrarily, doesn't mean much of anything. "Even AOR's BOP is much better at the moment". Aaaand there we see it again, you don't know much of what you're talking about. AOR BOP is a direct copy of LFM BoP.

@@jm-holm "arbitrarily, doesn't mean much of anything"... See, this is your team's biggest problem, Kryptic is one of the most serious experts in the ACC, you should pay attention to what he says... And the AOR public lobbies use completely different BoPs, than lfm. For this reason, fortunately, not only Ferraris win at Kyalami... :) If you develop that together, then they might be using an older version, but if this is the truth, that's even more ridiculous, because according to this, you guys managed to ruin a relatively good one with the newer versions. :)

Lexus should be back and competitive next year with Akkodis taking it on for WEC. It never really fell off in the USA either

Yh I've always liked it but once it stopped competing in world GT challenge its BOP just died on ACC.

hey man, i am in the same AOR split as you and the only Merc. Have to agree with the Mercs place. It's so hard to string a quali lap together, but the curb behaviour, straight line speed and generel race pace makes up for it imo. Might try a mid engine after this season. Agree with the rest of the list as well

yooo bro, ive tried the Merc before the BOP changes and i was crap in quali but the race always felt better to me aswell im not sure what to use next season.

im also in AOR not as quick as you, but the old maclaren is good, and you can use full neg toe with no undue tyre wear. and its -40kg on most tracks

with the new LFM custom BOP ive been using the BMW and AMG just cause im sick of driving the Mclaren evo. occasinally the Bentley but its hard to set up!!! At laguna i was doing 1:22.2 in the BMW. About the same with the M720 evo. At Zolder the AMG is a monster. Ive been using the BMW a lot and its a pretty decent car with the new BOP. overall i feel like the custom BOP has been good overall although a couple cars need more weight taken off.. Not a ton just a tad

I can see why you did the lexus so dirty but honestly its really good once you get used to it. Its specifically quite quick around watkins glen if you have the dlc, ive been able to get a 1:45.6 with it and a basic setup
