6.47 I already see cars flying in the air without proper shadows. All that manipulations do not add FPS with needed quality. It is just decreasing quality that add some FPS but game looks terrible in VR. ACC is either playable and look terrible or unplayable. No other options :)
@SimCraftStudio7 ай бұрын
I have to disagree with you. I play all the sims out there and acc is not that bad. It's a mistake that people commonly do is comparing 10+ yrs old games vs acc in a not vr friendly unreal engine. This game needs a beefy computer even just to play on a single monitor. What I'm trying to do is finding a sweet spot to enjoy it. I personally enjoy it a lot because I don't compare it with the ac or iRacing. Even when I compare it, it's actually not that bad at all.. Also I recorded with post prosessing on, so shadows were applied. I couldn't see that but it must be a bug or something

The weird thing i have with acc... in AC everything is fine. ACC (4090 with 7950x3d) the game runs smooth and is ugly... or looks okayish and rans like shit. The game does Max settings 30 cars online 240fps in 5180x1440p on my PC. The other thing - whatever you do it seems like the fov is off. I feel like squinting. AC is perfectly fine though. Crystal Clear on Quest 3. Maybe this can be fixed with OpenXR settings but no other game does that or looks that weird.
@SimCraftStudio2 ай бұрын
Hopefully ac evo will be much better (I'm sure it will, without the ugly unreal engine) and we won't have to do extra steps to make it run smoothly :)

Hi! have you made any changes to your settings in the last three months? There were some commenters who said that the graphics could be nicer with this hardware. I also have an RTX 3070, and with these settings it's probably the best so far, but I can still see some slight image distortion in places. Could this be due to some setting, e.g. sharpening or overuse of some other setting? However, I know that this is necessary to avoid blurring the image. Could it be the CAS setting that generates this? Thank You!
@SimCraftStudio3 ай бұрын
No I haven't changed my settings. Honestly I didn't try to optimize further because it works flawless for me. Image distortion may be possible due to hardware bottleneck on some tracks, weather or time. Turn on fps overlay in openxr and keep an eye on it to know whether youre cpu or gpu limited
@Danecay3 ай бұрын
@@SimCraftStudio You don't have to think of big distortions, but of the kind that DLSS or FSR do. In our case, CAS is on at 50% and the sharpness is set to 300 in the game. These are also artificially generated things, which is why I thought it was over sharpened. Moreover, in the Oculus Debug Tool, Link Sharpening, is set to High. Although I've tried that on Normal, I didn't really notice a difference. Otherwise, I have CPU Headroom: +40-50%, GPU Headroom: 10-15%

This works pretty nice, but I still get slowdown near pit and when race first starts with every car inline. Locks to 90 pretty much thereafter. I think my CPU is bottlenecking my experience. 10850k and RTX 4070. How do I get the CPU / GPU info like you have up?

@@SimCraftStudio I missed that bit. Indeed, it’s my cpu. Turning on ‘turbo mode’ in the toolkit (killing asw), made a huge difference for me, fyi Locked at 90 until I get near pit or every car at once. Why do you put pixel density to auto or only 1 in Oculus app? Everybody says I schould put it to max (1,5)
@SimCraftStudio6 ай бұрын
I found that it's easier to tweak pixel density when changing in game. And it's just a theory, I can't prove that but I assume when we maxed out in oculus software we waste some headroom for oculus dashboard that we don't need it in game:) of course it's just what I thought:)

Wenn ich die originale DLL von SteamVR wieder einsetze, ist das FFB sofort wieder da, es muss also daran liegen. Jemand ne Idee wie man das fixen könnte? LG

Actually it is not for the best graphic in my opinion. I will give you my settings with my pc specs. I have 19 11900k cpu, 64gb ram and Rtx 4090 card. I like to use helmet so i do settings in debug tool to create like helmet view settings. I set pixel per eye 3 (with your card you can set it to 2 i think). FOV to 0.8 and 0.3 (this creates much more room for your video card) and link sharpening to normal (it makes more sharp image). Keep same OpenXR settings. In game get resolution scale to 1 and resolution as low as possible like 1920x1080. Sharpness must be minimum 250. Also get your Oculus settings to 72 Hz instead of 90 because you will not understand the difference. After doing all these hope you will get better visual quality.
@SimCraftStudio7 ай бұрын
Well, honestly I don't like to see black bars in my VR view and 72 to 90hz really makes a huge difference for me. I understand your point of getting a more crisp visuals by setting a sharpness to normal in debug tool but in game 250 is too much imo. That way you apply 3 sharpness filter( oculus,openxr and in game) Of course if you're happy and getting stable fps, it's the best setting :) Thanks for the feedback!
@barzucci7 ай бұрын
@@SimCraftStudio You are good to go with 90Hz because you don't multiply pixel per eye. Take it to 72Hz and pixel per eye to 2 in debug tool and after we speak :) You are right for black bars. They are not for everyone. You must used to use helmet for it. I am motorcycle driver so i used to see blacks around. But creates huge difference to clarity.

@@SpeedF1ction you can't believe the clarity. Here the trick is while you narrowing the FOV you create more room for your video card so you can double also triple your pixel per eye setting with 72Hz.
