The reason that the issue of SI in a federal court is so critically important to a state court is that the state court knows that if they deny FSU and Clemson SI at the state level, the schools will simply appeal to the federal court and win. Therefore, it makes no sense for a state court to issue a ruling that they know for certain will be overturned. It makes them look bad, as well.

If ACC isn’t coming to the settlement table to end all this, next best approach is to make this entire process as uncomfortable and expensive as possible for the ACC to keep their programs imprisoned. Make it no longer fun to keep these schools.

the higher the buyout, the harder it will be for any other schools to leave, which actually benefits the ACC. the only way to stick it to the ACC (and E$PN) is to win, or pay whatever it takes to leave if we lose, and NOT join the SEC

ACC is based in North Carolina. Florida and south Carolina have no jurisdiction in North Carolina and can only sue the ACC in North Carolina. Remember contracts signed are solid grounds and judge rarely over turn. When you buy a car the contract might say as is or 30 days when you sign it you are agreeing. When the ACC deal was made 33 million a year, it was equal to the big 10 and sec. A few years later espn decided to pay sec almost doubling the ACC. They should be sueing espn for bad faith
