I think, in the Lava Realm, Power Rage represents Vert’s rashness and his desperateness. But, notice how he acts in both the Swamp and Lava realms when someone is in danger. After the loss of Kadeem, it seems he has no ill will towards anyone, except maybe Markie. Also, Power Rage has always been one of my favorite Acceleracers cars, I don’t know why.

An interesting observation I’ve recently made is that Vert is technically not the main character of either World Race or Acceleracers, as Kurt is the most interesting character in WR with the most interesting character journey, while Nolo in AR has the closest thing to both progression, development, and a conclusion, as his journey begins in Ignition and concludes with him having fully progressed by the end of Ultimate Race. Meanwhile, Vert is, however, the main character of the series overall, as well as the perfect viewpoint protagonist for the audience, as we learn with Vert about the world, it’s people, and what’s really important. As we come to better know and understand Kadeem, we understand and sympathize with him and want him to succeed; just as Vert does. This is probably why Vert has remained such a prominent character throughout the entire Hot Wheels brand, and why his name and the recognition it comes with keeps getting recycled in unrelated Hot Wheels media

Vert has always been my favourite throughout highway 35 and acceleraces ( with battle force 5 ) and there was 2 things I learned from this video is that even if you fail to much never give up and thanks to you I leaned a new word which was reverberate :)

(Before watching the video) I’ve always felt as if Vert was a little hard on himself sometimes. For example in the Swamp Realm, where literally only 1 person made it to the end. However some of his mistakes were self inflicted (Water Realm is a prime example of that). Keep in mind that he is still really young during all of this, not even fully an adult yet. The fact that he could compete on the level of the other drivers at all says a lot about his potential/talent.

I believe he was stuck in the past, he was declared the best in the world, but the thing is that it happened years ago, things changed and it was a title given by Tesla, did not exactly represented reality, what I interpret is that Vert tried too hard to keep his title and "duty" as the best.

Something really jarring about these essays has to be the formatting for making the points. More often than not, I'm forgetting what you're talking about. The method I'm seeing here goes along the lines of "Subject, resource, answer"; Bring up a point of contention, show the video, and then tell us what we were looking for. There's just two rather glaring problems. 1. It's a lot easier to identify something when you know exactly what you're looking/listening for. By putting the context afterwards, we don't get to watch along with your perspective. We're stuck searching at everything and mentally grasping at straws, hoping to see if we can pick up on your point before you say it. Otherwise, we might have to rewind the video. 10:30 is good for explaining this. It's started off with "In usual circumstances," and we're given 2 minutes of trying to see which part of this clip is supposed to make up whatever point you'd like to make. Seriously though, I couldn't tell if you were going to talk about him lying about the wrecked car, some familiarity between Vert and his dad being told to be more careful, something about duty and teamwork, or the rebellion? I had no idea. Then the moment you started talking about the teenage rebellion, I'm wondering if the first 60 seconds had any significance or if I really missed something. Either way, I had to rewatch it. 2. There's a decent amount of "flab" when you're making the references, and it's a lack of cutting the movie scenes themselves into something more concise. It's drawing attention away from your essay's thoughts and arguments, and instead towards the movie. Take 13:37 for example: Well over 1 minute of the opening to The Ultimate Race is our reference, but less than 15 seconds of that was enough to show what he's thinking. Is it nice to watch? Yes. Have I forgotten what you were talking about? Also yes. These are video essays, anybody and everybody here should have seen Acceleracers already before coming here. It's great to see you have started to cut out some parts, like the entire driving scene at 7:34, but there's plenty more that needs done elsewhere to keep our small attention spans following along. My personal advice? Switch up the method to Subject, Answer, Resource, and start cutting down and "highlighting" the Resource some more.

Vert will always be my favorite character. There's just so many important lessons I learned thanks to him. You also made me love Reverb even more, that's a quite interesting parallel between Power Rage representing Vert's ignorance, while Reverb represents Vert learning from his mistakes and letting go of his ego.

I wonder how Vert's pride and ego will rise again after he know his father is Silencerz driver (and leader ?). You know, he maybe realized his father asked him to quit (at breaking point) for a purpose and the answer of Vert's questions about that "duty". Major asked his son to quit because he need to fulfill his duty. Simillar to Kurt at World Race. Sabotaging other drivers to fulfill his duty. But Major "sabotaging" by mental, not technical thing (like Kurt did). What Major doing to Vert is simillar like Accelerons to Gelorum. He not trusted his son about this thing. And Vert need to prove to his dad that he can do the race and he can beat the drone. Just like Gelorum want to prove the Acceleron that she (?) can race with Acceleron. Oh ya, why I speculate his pride and ego will rise again after that ? Because he dissapointed to his father. Vert always grounded by his father, but he still trust his father. But after that moment, he think his father had lied to him all this time. Lied about what ? About that "squadron". Well, his pride and ego will rise toward his father only. But he still care with his friends. That just my speculation.

Oh ya. If you noticed, Reverb have mid engine layout, but the exhaust pipe coming from front like front engine layout. You can see first at Breaking Point when Reverb was pulled by magnetic tool (idk what the name of that thing) at Junk Realm. Second, you can see at The Ultimate Race when Vert was shooted by drones plane at the track before he reach the wheel when he want to race with Gelorum. And last, you can see when Vert bumping his rear end to drone's car at Acceledrome.

Reverb also signify one more thing: I gotta be honest, Reverb is one of the uglier hypercars I’ve seen. It literally looks like a box, which reduces a lot of aerodynamics and well as fuel efficiency. However, it represents Vert’s insecurity, and insecurity is ugly as hell if you think about it. However, despite all that outside appearances, it has an OP as hell engine and drivetrain system, represents Vert’s willpower. In the real world, unfortunately Reverb’s production has ended in 2017 with only 10 Color variations, so if you ever expect to find one in the wild, you may have to stick to its UTE version. Fun fact: During early stages, Reverb was supposed to be MARKIE’s car (HOLD IT, RRVERB’S MAI CAH!!!), but in the end Vert took the car, and Power Bomb serves as Markie’s 4th car.
