Apart from Taro, I'd say Tesla picked the cream of the crop for the starting acceleracers. 2 team leaders, Dresden was a pro driver already, plus was crucial in everyone catching Kurt in the Ice Race, and Alec was a consistent finisher in the world race, being the only non-captain shown to get a podium spot.

Kurt - was a potential traitor Wylde - was out of prison Vert - father Silencer Taro - smashed his door and is also a lone wolf, not that much of a team player, but of course Tesla wanted competition so I think that they were also risky because of their teams. Tesla didn´t want the whole Teku or Metal Maniacs club showing at his door. Who knows how many drivers these clubs really have around the US. Then when he contacted his first wave of drivers notice how there´s one from each team. Alec Wave Ripper, Kadeem Dune Rat, Banjee, Dan Dresden. So that begs the question. Who was chosen from the Scorchers? And one more thing. They weren´t the best but they sure were good. Dan Dresden is a pro, Alec always finished in the World Race, Kadeen Banjee were leaders similarly to Vert, Taro, Kurt so yeah Tesla went with the less risky options.

My theory is that Tesla tried contacting them but, like Vert said in the beginning. They wanted to go back into Highway 35 and re race the worlds. However, Tesla didn’t allow it because he never resupplied them with Notrox. So in return they cut contact with Tesla. Only when Gig showed up did they consider it.

Don't forget when Taro broke down Tezla's door to help Vert return the Wheel. That could be another factor: Tezla might not have trusted Vert and Taro completely because they had broken into his lab to return the Wheel after the World Race (when Taro smashed his car through the door)

When gig says "doctor tezla needs you" they sharply respond "what about when we needed nitrox" it could be theorized that they just didn't go because they didn't care. Tezla turned his back on them and when tezla ran out of all the world race drivers he had no other choice but to try to recruit them once more this time with gig personally going

While I agree with most of this, there's one point in particular that I think you're probably wrong on, and that actually strenghtens the theory. I find it hard to believe Tesla wouldn't know about the Teku and Metal Maniacs, neither he nor Lani seem really surprised of the others showing up. Hell only Kadeem questioned who Monkey was, and again that was after he adressed him as Tesla first, not really seemed to be taken by surprise by other drivers. In fact I believe the gangs are part of the reason he didn't call the four of them. First, yes, contacting Vert would have been risky, and he definetly would have been weary of contacting Kurt, and knowing they were in the same gang now would have been crazy. And this I think is the main reason he also didn't contact Taro. At the time, Tesla would likely not know for sure the ammount of animosity between the Wylde brothers, so contacting Taro would have meant that Wylde also knew about it, and potentially Kurt (and also, the fact Wylde was fresh out of jail probably didn't help). To add to this, while the 4 of them were among the best on the World Race, they were also among the most uncontrolable of the lot. Marky specially was constantly doing whatever the hell he wanted, Vert and Taro where the ones to question him after the wheel was obtained, and Kurt. I think just as interesting to think about is why he specifically contacted his "first wave" first. Why would he contact Alec Wood, Dan Dresden, Banjee Castillo, Brian Kadeem and Lani Tam in particular out of the 35 racers from the World Race.

At first, with the few realm they’d already experienced. It may have been that they were just letting large numbers of drivers enter. After Ignition, the drivers seem to have been cherry picked for each race. Maybe after some more extensive research into each symbol, they came to the conclusion that certain drivers would be needed for certain realm based on their driving styles.

I feel like Mark Wylde would have been one of the best drivers, even better than his brother, if he stopped being so aggressive with him. I would hope that a sequel of acceleracers would have wylde in the spotlight and dealing with his new robotic arm.

This doesn’t really have anything to do with the topic of the video but what’s interesting is the wheel of power is literally a biblical angel. Biblical angels consist of many rings with eyes on the outside of them with a big eye in the middle. It’s really quite interesting

In world race at 37 minutes you get the wheel spinning and Lani says to hit the ramp at 163mph. Sum of 1-163=13366 Sum of 1-35= 630 Nikola Tesla / “Elohim” Musk 37.10 divided by 110 minute run time = 0.337272727 There is a cube building near a place called Irvine Spectrum disguised as a target store and the city is modeled after the speed of light. 1/137 is the fine structure constant of physics that creates the Higgs field / unified structure of reality. These numbers and Lani are related the the operator / dimensions of the moon Zed 36 is related to the same numbers as well as the 8-8 on both sides of the rear end of slingshot. You can tie paradox realities to the 2 fast 2 furious bridge jump scene and the clock tower from back to the future

I'm feeling one of the the reasons for why he didn't choose them first is as last ditch effort/last stand kind of deal to where in case the first drivers failed he would have a backup plan in mind in case of anything bad happening to the first batch of drivers he recruited.

Perhaps it could simply be that Lani, Banjee, Dan, and Alex were the only ones Tezla could contact, but your reasons make sense for the ones who joined the Teku and Maniacs, Vert being contacted could have alerted the Silencers, Lani isn’t Likely Tesla’s daughter, but her break up with Taro could have made her driving harder, maybe Lani did attempt 1 Realm only to not do well and so rather then race stayed behind to use her mechanic skills, and assist the now badly injured Tesla with anything he needed. Mark and Kurt for one had that bad deal happen with Mark in prison for a bit, and Kurt couldn’t be trusted. Only to lose Alec, Dan, and Banjee to the Realms, Kadeem was recruited likely after Banjee was at least lost, he seemed knowledgeable enough on the Drones that he likely already did a Realm, just none of the ones that were never won, only one or some of the 3 the Drones already won in. Sadly he was lost in the Storm Realm because the bickering between the 2 teams left Kadeem vulnerable to the Drones, and no EDR meant he was trapped and captured. Remember the World Racers all had their own lives to live. It very easily could be aside from the Teku and Maniac members, no one else but Alec, Banjee, Lani and Dan could be close enough to be contacted or were the only ones willing to help.

I know the answer to this question. The reason they werent selected, was because tesla didnt know what the risk was being took when he sent the drivers into the realm, he needed to expirement with the more disposable drivers. When he understood how secere and crucial it was he had no choice but to alwrt them.

Dan, Benjee and Alec Wood they were called Because well probably because they never had problems Dan is smart and trustworthy. He had good ideas and can find a shortcut track with his flying satellite bot Benjee is determined (well i mean "No one passes the Roadbeasts" that part and etc.) Alec Wood is a chilled kid and won 3rd as Taro and Kadeem knock him away for becoming number 1 And Kadeem. I assume Kadeem arrived late or something because he appears in Tesla old HQ well its what i assume and also um Kadeem won first and Tied with Taro and had ideas (like the part where he uses spike tires on the ice track) Kadeem is perfect all tho Tesla could have called him before Dan,Benjee and Alec went missing. Especially when Kadeem has problems in his town and then Kadeem arrives and was sent to The Tesla old HQ to wait for the others and later on yeah Kadeem went M.I.A until now a Cyborg (no pun intended for Teen Titan Cyborg) and like what happened to Dan and Alec and *Benjee* all tho Benjee lost into The Swamp realm ironically especially the leader of The RoadBeasts and as *Vert* lost because of water reasons and *Taro* lost because of The Heat in Lava realm, *Kurt* nearly got taken out by a Rage Truck in the metro realm luckily. Kadeem lost in The storm well. (He saids sand STORM is nothing. and he just lost in the STORM realm. Which i find it ironic a little) Alec and Dan is missing but where? Idk maybe in The Solar realm or Glass. Well maybe a realm that can make them loose control ironically but anyway that's all

Oh my childhood. Rewatching the series now (after a decade) I believe Vert wasn’t even originally chosen for the world race either. Tezla probably had an affiliation with the wheeler’s via Jack’s wife (who laid the ground work for the silencers). He let her run point for research cause she could do the job better than him or her husband (highlighting tezla’s child-like apathetic nature back then and tying in vert / jacks convo when vert almost left). Upon the news of the first portal being opened in secret jack’s squad is called out to investigate the unauthorized signal just before tezla could deliver the deora 2 as his way to break the news. This would explain why she was mentioned only in acceleracers. Tezla originally sought after jack because of his role in supporting his wife’s work on the national defense side of things giving him access to tech like gig and the ultra stable body/chassis modifications originally conceived by vert’s mother when initially studying the realms. Vert’s mother could also have very possibly been taken to work for the drones when galorum was first notified by her experiments to help build their drone city from the time the drones were waiting in the ice versus after they took control over hot wheels city. This would also explain why the drones are more fitted to look like accelerons in the redesign due to fortifications made by her research and cuz the drones coded want to beat their creators at their own game with shame. However, when vert showed up with a fresh license tezla decided to keep racing in secret since jack would have certainly shut it all down giving him motive to reprogram gig after the power surge just before jack shows up. The reason tezla even kept vert was cause he needed a driver. A driver that at the very least may have the adaptability his mother constantly displayed in their research put behind the wheel of a rocket car that could produce an electromagnetic combustion with enough energy to communicate with space itself. I also believe this means jack had only recently found out about the dangers of tezla’s research giving his motive to react the way he did at the end of highway 35 while in vert’s car. I think he was just trying to cover up bad news by pretending to be a normal dad :(

It seems clear that Tezla didn't want to choose them first because they were valuable and the best drivers which he even said "I need the best." and yes he could've done that before but he saw how dangerous the Realms were and it's only until they were able to survive that they got chosen and he doesn't want anyone else to enter, you can see his look on his face change from angry and paranoid to thrilled as soon as Pork Chop entered the Acceledrome with Ol' Smokey.

I think Dan, Alec and Banjee were already Silencerz. I think Lani maybe didn't know the whole story. Tesla didn't tell her about the Silencerz. Dan, Alec and Banjee were also working for a government organization under Major Wheeler, so they wouldn't be able to tell anyone without clearance. Not sure if this is part of the reason Tesla kept his mouth shut about the Silencerz as long as he did. He couldn't exactly tell street racers he knew nothing about, anything right away about the Silencerz. The ones he knew not only brought racers he didn't know, but Monkey contacted another racer he didn't know and invited him (PorkChop).

This is awesome, actually had me thinking but lets talk about the others kadeem, dan alex and banjee why they were called in the races, obviously proved they weren't as good drivers as the team leaders not only yea banjee is team leader but he's too overconfident and sometimes crews up showing off like the big loop or the short cut and kadeem he raced for the money for his people why come back if telza had nothing to offer

GUYS I FOUND THE SOLUTION tezla and the other drivers where recruited by the silencerz after the world race.thats why in the start of IGNITION we see tezla driving in the city where vert left the wheel of power.we can see that tezla was driving a silncer car. the silencerz where looking for the wheel and and they send tezla to get it.when he didnt they just used the hologram to send the other drivers in the realms.THE REASON WHY WE SEE BANJEES NORMAL CAR in the swamp realm was beacuse he already had a car like the others.tezla was the only one without a car at the time so he must have been one of the first to drive a silincer car. AFTER tezla failed and returned to earth he HIMSELF tried to set up a team to win the realms.REMEMBER that only after the storm realm tezla realized that through the realms you win accelechargers so its MOST LIKELY that KADEEM WASNT A PART of the first drivers for tezla but he was the first HE contacted and so its also likely that THE THE STORM REALM WAS KADEEMS FIRST ASWEEL. THE REASON WHY LATER all the remaining drivers for the silencers got the new purple and white cars is beacuse they failed the realms. THATS WHY THE REALM OF THE SWAMP RE OPENED. THE REALMS WHERE A SERIES OF CHALLENGES AND THE WHEEL CYCLED THROUGH THEM UNTIL THEY WHERE ALL COMPLETED.

Karma is not a human she is a robot she must be the twin version of Gelorum just rewatch acceleracers she is the only one showing interest in robots that also from the start when she meets geek (tesla's robot) she is the one who is interested in drones she was the only one who used a simulation to study the drones driving pattern and she was the only one in the series who understood that all the realms were nothing but test build by the accelerons to choose the best driver but when she tells tesla he tells her that it is all wrong what she said and this happened during water realm and she was the one to help Taro out of the water realm .Also she went to meet the drone which got into Tesla's new lab that also she was alone and the drown gave her the same respect as gallorem .and the reason she joined teku is because Vert won the world race and was a pain in the ass for gallorem during the returning the wheel of power so she knew Tesla would contact Vert at some point so that's the reason she must have joined teku (i think she is a robot who is either under cover or her memory was erased )

@@DiyQ Or Instinct and Suspicion, you can literally react to any situation with Instinct and she's clearly the Intellect type, she would realize that because they're in the Drone Headquarters that it's a trap and the Drone Cannon didn't even fire as she shouted at Monkey to stop, there's literally other explanations to her senses and one of the Realms such as Sound would definitely involve a skill that requires you to rely on your own senses such as hearing, Blizzard would involve Preparing for the Worst and Warped prepare for the unpredictable, the Drone she analyzed during Driving definitely had to be programmed with knowledge on every Realm or with just the three, Warped, Monument and Fog since that's all we know they've won but they could've entered other Realms like Blizzard and Sound but failed them, either way 1 explanation isn't everything and again it can be other reasons like Instinct, Suspicion and Preparing for the Worst.
