All those cars from Hot Wheels Acceleracers are very impressive that I could drive in all of them in different Racing Realms and collect Accelechargers for our favorite Hot Wheels characters.

In the virtual garage for individual DVD's with Hyperpods, RD-03 was said to be driven by RD-L1. This makes a little more sense than RD-S1 driving the RD-03, given that RD-L1 usually drives larger & more rugged drone vehicles like the RD-05 & RD-08, while RD-S1 drive smaller & more streamlined vehicles like RD-02 & RD-06.

In the Acceleracers animated series & the artwork for the Card Game, RD-05 is RD-08, and Vise-Versa.

Great video but I think it’s funny how mediocre the stats of the cars are when they perform in out-of-this-world ways. Like, getting to 300mph with sub-400 horsepower?

Hey AcceleReece, Can you do a video explaining and showing proof for you got information explaining that the show was canceled for bad ratings and the toys not selling well. I see your comments on a bunch of other peoples videos and Reddit, and if you’ve made a video on this already, I missed it but I’ve seen in your videos that you complain about the toy prices all the time and I feel like this is an attempt for you to try to drive the prices down. I’m not a seller by the way.😂 but it’s just supply and demand because all of us that grew up with it loved it. Now we all have adult money I want our childhood back Lol Thanks

Not Reece (duh) but there is some empirical evidence for these which he discussed on JayCee's podcast: In 2005 there was an official website which contained all the info about the show, and for some reason it was never updated after Speed of Silence. Hence a lot of people didn't tune in to watch Breaking Point and Ultimate Race while they aired, so it's fair to assume the ratings dropped off like crazy. It also didn't help that Toonami kind of hated the show and didn't put in the proper effort to advertise it. Regarding the toy sales, again due to Mattel's poor marketing and distribution of the toys as well as the movies, there was low awareness of the series as a whole among collectors and kids alike; a large chunk of fans only discovered the show in late 2005 to early 2006 after it released as DVDs. Stores were overstocked with the first few waves of cars which weren't selling adequately, so they didn't bother to purchase new cases. This explains why later wave cars like Chicane and SpecTyte were so rare at least in the USA. But the cars from the initial waves were very common, and the current prices they go for on eBay are utterly ridiculous (looking at you Power Rage). It's mainly because of the flippers who discovered the fandom in 2021 or so, as well as ignorant fans who were (and still are) willing to pay those prices on a whim without checking first. It makes no sense that some of these cars cost more than some of the most expensive Hot Wheels ever made, despite not being nearly as rare or quite frankly even as desirable (it's easy to forget that AcceleRacers is very very niche). There's clearly more than just supply and demand at play here; it's artificial inflation of prices by greedy resellers coupled with people actually paying that much money which is ignorant at best and selfish at worst. I'll leave it to Reece and the other TC members to discuss further and disclose any proof if possible. But really a big takeaway is that the rumour about the series being cancelled for getting "too popular" is BS, which is what TC aims to debunk in most of the comments you cited. Full disclosure, I'm not an expert on this stuff by any means, I'm just another fan who got back into AR recently and happened to do a lot of digging about it on Reddit and the like

@ I appreciate you taking the time to write all that out and explain. I remember my parents would buy me the movies as they released and I would watch the reruns of all the movies on Cartoon Network and sometimes they would have them all in order. I’m simply just a fan as well. I understand that some of them are extremely overpriced. I’ve seen it firsthand, especially when I’m trying to buy Pokémon for my wife. It’s the same kind of situation. So I understand it’s not just supply and demand but it is part of it. But how do we as a community determine what is a fair price without knowing exactly what’s out there? As you say it’s very niche and I agree, but if somebody’s willing to pay a certain price then is it overpriced? How would somebody getting into the community know what’s too expensive? Some of the most expensive hot wheels are tens of thousands of dollars I hope acceleracers never gets that high😂 I only watch Tesla cube and acceleracers hub So I don’t see and hear about everything. Sidenote, that’s unrelated whenever acceleracer hub releases his next collection video I’ll be in it and I’m interested to see what he says😂 Have a good one, thanks again

@@loganemersonproductions You're welcome man. You're right, it's certainly tricky to fix prices like that. But the least we can do is think a bit before dropping so much money (anything more than $100) on a diecast toy car meant for kids, sadly many people don't even bother to do that. Also as Reece mentioned in his videos a couple times, a lot of AR fans don't know the first thing about Hot Wheels collecting, so they don't bother to try collecting in person at antique stores, flea markets etc. where there may be better deals on offer. The only source they know is eBay. That's also very regrettable. The NFT Teku Deora II was going for around $1000 online at one point so yeah, we already kinda got there 🙃 (of course, it's because only 500-600 were ever sold). In addition to those two channels I definitely recommend following JayCee Squared and ValkenVugen too, both make awesome content. Have a good one too!

@@ksask2675 yeah I remember when I got my power rage for $60, now look at it😭 That was kind of my main problem with Reece’s take on the prices because I feel like people are trying to clear out there houses or what not they take stuff to the flea markets and other places like that to sell and might not know exactly what they have or care, they just want to get rid of stuff. So you might be able to get a really good deal. So I feel like you shouldn’t base your pricing off of the fact that you got lucky. eBay you’re also kinda paying for convenience. I’ve never found anything at flea markets unfortunately. Seems like The NFT Teku Deora II doesn’t actually sell for $1000 fortunately, I’ve been watching them for awhile and they sell for about 500 which is still ridiculous. Thanks man, for me personally I feel like Jay is a little too over the top for me to watch but it’s definitely good to have people like him in the community.

@@ksask2675 I swear, I replied to your comment yesterday, but I don’t see it anymore. But that was my issue with the take on the prices because I feel most people who take their stuff to be sold at the flea markets and other places like it are just trying to clear out their house and get a little bit of cash. So I don’t think we should base the toy prices off of somebody getting a lucky find at one of those places. I’ve never been able to find anything, unfortunately. And with eBay, I feel like you’re also paying for convenience. But yes, some of the prices are too high, but when you take everything into consideration with supply and demand and age of the item, of course it’s going to go up in price. I’ve been watching the NFT Teku Deora II for a while and they don’t sell for around 1000. They usually sell around 500 which is still too much. Well, I don’t know if this is as good as what I wrote yesterday, but my comment disappeared 😂
