The breakdown was reasonably good. However, I thought when it was put together, it sounded a bit ‘stage Irish’ and not especially authentic. In addition, you missed out one very important feature: how we pronounce th’s (or rather how we don’t!). I’m from Dublin by the way.

The key isn't the "sounds" but that in general it's a soft, musical, and low voiced accent. Speak quietly and don't over do the accent.

Based on my own observations over the years of hanging out with Irish folks, other distinctive sounds are the 'melt in your mouth' t sounds at the end of words, the diphthong in words like main, which become more like mee-en, and of course the absence of 'TH' which becomes a 'T' sound. I guess these vary based on different parts of Ireland and how thick the accent is (some Irish people I know don't have these at all). I love Colin's accent, pity that he had to tone it down a lot to work in Hollywood. I did enjoy the way he sounded in 'In Bruges'. My mate and I would have fun having a go with sentences like 'Don't you know who the fuck I am? I am fucking Colin Farrell', and 'He shot him in the fucking face.' Don't know why, but these sentences are particularly satisfying to say in an Irish accent. I highly recommend them.

Nice break down of the phonetic elements of Colin's accent, which to be specific is a middle class suburban Dublin accent. However, when you put it all together, you make it sound like a soft generic Northern Irish accent, particularly the downward and then upward lilt on the word "car"..so unfortunately no cigar.

You messed up the word ''sounds'' dramatically, that word automatically sounded northern Irish. In general it just sounded like you were doing a bad version of that ''stereotypical'' Irish accent.
