A tribute to the Lost But Not Forgotten 80's
Well my friends, today is a bittersweet day for me and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude! Within the next few hours, this channel will have been viewed over a million times around the world and grown to almost 3400 loyal subscribers! Truly remarkable considering a little over a year ago when I nervously started this endeavour as a simple way to pass the time on my lunch break has now over 4000 tracks. I still remember that day vividly! I believe David Moncada was my very first subscriber and still listening today! Thanks David!
It has been an absolute pleasure and labor of love sharing my beloved music collection with you all but everything has to come to an end and today is that day! This will sadly be my final post! One of the very first tracks I posted in Jan 2023 and one of my favorites in the series! The original lyrics insert in the 7" record was used as my channel pic!
I hope we can one day continue as there were not hundreds but thousands of tracks I could have added to the series but sadly life sometimes gets in the way and we need to prioritize things that matter most.
I sincerely want to thank each and everyone of you for making this channel something very special and dear to me. I did my best to answer all the comments and also tried to add as many requests as possible so forgive me if I didn’t get to them all. I have to give mention to subscriber Abbynormal who painstakingly went through every single track and provided hundreds of wonderful comments and insights!
A special thank you to all the 80s channels on KZbin (you know who you are) who have been doing this far longer than I have and are the true pioneers, keep doing your part to preserve this wonderful decade of forgotten music for the next WAVE generations!
Lastly and with the utmost respect, to all the artists/bands that found their way onto this series, I speak for all all 3400 of us, thank you for daring to go outside the norm and giving us what is truly the greatest decade in music!

You’ve spent many years helping to preserve countless musical artifacts from the 80s that may have been lost forever, and we’re all grateful for that. The simple fact that we were connected through this particular style of 80s music and still are many years later is very special! Thank You so much Paolo for all the effort you put into this channel filled with Angelic New Wave music. 80’s is indeed “THE BEST” decade in all of music. I give thanks to God I found your channel, out of the blue back in June 2023, I will pray for you so that the Lord from above can help you out with your hardships. Don’t give up m8, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Hardships/suffering aren’t forever. Storms always come to an end and that’s when the Sunshine ( blessings begin ) thank you once again. Still got more than 95% of the channel to discover as I’ve been going through tough times which limits my discovery of new songs, so I just listen to the same ones :) thank you once again, I believe I became a sub at around 300 subs. Which I think is pretty cool. But yeah man, life will get better for you, God bless and thank you once again :) blessings to you and your loved ones

Best channel on KZbin... It was a pleasure to grace your channel's treasures Sir ! I am saddened to hear your withdrawing but I fully understand, and wish you the best in this world of ups and downs. Thanks for going beyond what was imagined in sharing the treasures that only a person that dedicated a lifetime could of collected. To find/procure unobtainium records, clean them, rip them, label them, research them, find the best method to load them to KZbin with the least distortion... I can imagine the painstaking connections to locate obscure artists it took to get some of this music. Not something most of us would consider doing on a grand scale. I appreciate you leaving the music up so we (listeners) can enjoy them... I have found that some songs took more than one listen to appreciate, we take for granted the top 40 songs on the radio had multiple plays for folks to learn to appreciate them, these songs were often not given that luxury. Thanks from the Deep South USA ... and I was thrilled to find groups you featured on your channel from my area too.
