When I teach, I like to use the 80/20 rule (which says that roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes). To learn more about how to use this rule in your accent training go here: bit.ly/34Wd4S3
I used the ow as in 'go' vowel sound as an example for a sound that is fairly easy to make, yet has a very immediate and apparent impact.

Your video lecture is far better than audio lecture... And I want to know one more thing... I've been using OALD dictionary online... It's a well illustrated dictionary by Oxford but many a time, I find its pronunciation IPA wrong as compared to its audio.... How to find the right pronunciations... Kindly post a video on its tips if possible...

To make the 'w' consonant, you must put your lips in exactly the same configuration as for the 'oo' /u/ sound. That's why the 'gooey' diphthong induces a perfect 'w' sound between the 'oo' & the 'ee'. It's incidental / involuntary so we omit the letter and pretend that it's not there😅.

I believe most non-native speakers have an even harder time when it comes to pronouncing words with the 'a' (ah) sound and the 'ea' sound as in 'had' and 'head'. Same goes for words such as 'live' and 'leave.' So, I would like to leave those here as a suggestion, if you haven't done them yet. I also would like to compliment you on the brilliant work you do. Congratulations.

Hi Hadar. I ve been practicing the vowels with ur master class. Such a big difference now. Before you I had no idea about the more than 10 different vowel sounds and I was all the time saying the words with the 5 vowel sounds I know from my original language. I wanna ask u for help with words with the vowel sound o as in law or tall. In ur master class video u mention 3 or 4 words and I would like to get a list of words with this sound. Deeply appreciate your help

it's important to speak correctly because you don''t want to confuse whom to talking to and that will help you to having a better listening skills too why we learn ENG Language it depends on you for some they love the ENG content like me want to travel to ENG spoken countries it's a lingo franca which's nice it really depends on you

You're a woman with a clean voice. Women have better hearing than men. At least that's what I've read. That would explain why you both know and teach the correct sounds despite using IPA symbols that don't match your instruction.
