Me seeking for fluency tips. Others:- Read, listen, write, and speak. Hadar :- Why on earth you are doing this? These are futile if you have a negative mindset. Me:-😐 This was my situation when I was trapped in illusion of learning, but 2021 renders me a precious gift, that is, Hadar Ma'am. How could I thank you?

I fancy the tip- accept your voice. Seriously when I first started posting videos on my channel I felt so insecure about my voice. But with time that mindset changed and now I like speaking with the voice that I have.

When it comes to vocabulary, every time I encounter a new word I am tempted to figure out what that word is. New words grab and deflect my focus from the essence ))) Thank you for positive and motivation :)

What I doing for an English study; -watching Hadar's videos and repeating them out loud -watching series with english subtitles and checking every new word I don't know (then dont gonna use in any sentence) -Spending time on websites such as quara.com I don't have the discipline and time to do any more of that. I'm not sure if I'm learning slowly but persistently or if nothing is actually happening

Remember onne of the best reasons why it's okay to make mistakes is being able to learn from them. ... You may not just be scraping your knee but you're still learning a lesson and becoming more mature! Instead of "learn something new every day," the phrase should be "learn something new every mistake"!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I also listen to your videos while working and go to sleep listening to them too, it helps me to improve my listening by also study literally thousands of song lyrics and also watch a couple of some episodes of series with audio and subtitles in English, but I'm really improving my listening skills but since I don't have anyone to talk to in English it is just like all the efforts weren't worthwhile when I speak English, but slow progress it is still progress.

Thank you so much for sharing with us these tips! 👍 I think that right mindset, consistency, and regular daily practice are most important things for gaining any skill, and of course for reaching fluency in our target language 💪👏 What do I do for it? 🤔 1. I listen to different people, to me they're the best tutors (including Hadar! 😊). 2. I speak English without fear of mistakes (and I make them pretty often, but i try to keep my speech fluent no matter what). 😄 3. I teach my friends and my followers the things I've learned and I'm aware of, through my fun and silly videolessons 😃 Happy New Year to you and to the whole community! 🎄 🙌

Yes you're absolutely right when I wake up my ton voice is too low and when I speak English is a totally different tone from my native language, and I also wondered if only I could keep that tone voice it would help a lot, I also tried singing class for 2 months but it didn't work, I can sing each musical note separately by listening and repeating a note from a keyboard, but I sing totally out of tone and without rhythm. But still, I know that I have a good voice just don't how to maximize it. In these lessons my teacher talked by taking deep breaths similar from the stomach while speaking or singing, that's the basic definition of ventriloquism from latin o speak from the stomach, i.e. venter (belly) and loqui (speak), quite interesting, isn't.

Im frustrated. my English communication is not improving. Everytime i open my mouth i stutter. I commit mistakes. there's a lot of grammatical errors despite consistency in watching English shows. I dunno i feel overwhelmed. been here in US for 3 yrs but still not excellent in my speaking skills. I think im a slow learner😔there you go! Perhaps you are right Hadar. I talk less. social anxiety also affects my confidence and the ability to interact with other people. and i get frustrated everytime i made mistakes. Everything should be perfect!
