Nice video. Suggestions: turn around the bolts/wing nuts so the wing nuts are under the platform to minimize exposure to you and catching your clothing, especially when you are up on a ladder. Also, I would round both corners facing you to minimize exposure to sharp 90 degree edges that you could come into contact with.

Both are good suggestions. Since I would never be standing on the top step of the ladder I think catching on the wingnuts is likely not much of a risk for me. I also found that the edges are not sharp once I sanded them well but you can certainly round them over with a router if that is a concern. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the community.

Yes, I would not stand on that step but rather I would think there is a possibility of catching my sleeve on the wing nuts while climbing up/down the ladder.
