As someone who works in kitchens I can confirm that expediters (someone who's job it is to just watch the tickets and keep everyone on track) are really helpful on busy nights. It's easy to get tunnel vision when you're cooking and having someone seeing the big picture is a godsend. Also having defined stations would have helped you as well. Keeps everything running efficiently. Anyway, good stuff guys!

Gaming Confession: Back in the day, my older sister and I took turns playing on our PS1 and whenever it was her turn I just watched her play. She loves RPG games and steadily finished Final Fantasy 6, 7, 8, and 9. I have watched her play every time (over the years) and without even playing the games, I knew the whole story of each (just like watching playthroughs now on youtube). My sister just graduated highschool and we got a new PS2 to play with. My sister got busy when she got to college and didn't had much time to play and then I thought to myself, "hey, I've been watching my sister played through all those FF series, I should try playing from scratch!" and with this, I started playing FFX on the PS2. It was tedious and I always thought a lot first before I buy new gear or placing Spheres on the Sphere grid. One day we moved the PS2 down to our living room since our parents were watching TV upstairs where we usually played. It was tricky since the TV was placed quite high on a platform and all the wires were stretched out long but we managed to set it up and play. While I was already on the scene where Tidus was running toward the altar where Seymour and Yuna were about to get hitched. Suddenly, my aunt was rushing to the washroom and got her feet tangled on my controller pulling down the PS2 and it dropped down on the floor and the TV went black. The PS2 was broken and I didn't get the chance to finish FFX. I now have a PS4 though and there's the new HD version for FFX but I couldn't find the will to play it all over again. Just the frustration and anger I had felt on that faithful day with the PS2 left me scarred and till now, I literally quit playing RPG games.

Gaming Confession: When I bought my first Pokémon game, they were only available in English in my country (me, not a native English speaker), but 8-year old me wanted it anyway, convinced that my knowledge of the series would be enough to get me through the game. 30 -minutes in the game, I picked up my first potion. Now, I did have at this time some knowledge of English of course and otherwise I'd ask my parents, but convinced I knew this word, I spent the next 2 hours in the game wondering why on earth the game developers would give me something to POISON my Pokémon with (as I knew that word and read 'potion' wrong), only realising after acidentally using one, that it actually seemed to have a rather positive effect. When I finally got the brilliant idea to ask my mom about it, she had a rather hysterical giggle fit, and she still teases me with this, until this very day.

Gaming Confession: Final Fantasy X is one of my favourite games of all time. A couple years ago, I picked up the HD remaster for PS3. Around thirty or so hours in, I had finally made my way to the Calm Lands. Having finished the game around six times on the PS2, I figured I was pretty good at it and decided to skip over the save point at the inn like an idiot and proceed directly to the chocobo trainer. After completing her arduous trails and scoring 0.00:000 on the race, I thought it a good idea to head over to pick up Ultima, considering the guard had moved, skipping over the save once again. Just before reaching the path down to the Sin scar, I was attacked by a Malboro and my party was near instantly annhialiated... I haven't played it since.

Finally I can contribute something meaningful! I bought Dark Souls 1 about two years ago because I was curious. I had never played a Souls game before. I got to the big demon right at the beginning, I assume he is the Asylum Demon, knowing little more than how to move and attack, and understandably got crushed into undead nothingness multiple times within what seemed like no time at all. I tried probably ten times in one session, with the message 'You are dead' taunting me in blood red after each humiliating defeat, and I got so angry with it that I have never touched Dark Souls 1 since. I did realise recently though that you don't actually have to beat the Asylum Demon there and then... but I cannot convince myself to go back to it.

Game confession: back on PS2, my older brother got Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup for his birthday. After he spent hours practicing and learning all the best combos and unlocking the best teams and broomsticks, he taught me how to play. Considering I was about six years old whilst he was nine, he thought he'd win a match against me easily. After a very humiliating defeat, he never picked up the game again and it officially became my game from then on.

Gaming Confession: I got this game called 'LotR The third Age' and it was pretty awesome from what I remember. But then my friend told me that if you beat the game on hard mode, AND not die at all, you would get two extra characters. So me and my brothers thought, "Cool! That would definitely be worth it!" So we got pretty far (all the way to osgiliath) and then we hit a hard part. So what we did is we would turn off the system whenever we died and just went back to the last save point. The problem is that the save point we would go back to was at least an hour away! After trying three times, we finally got past the hard part. And then THREE literal trolls popped up and killed us to which all of us simultaneously said, "AHHHHHH!!!" The worst part is that it wasn't true. Never trust the internet, especially before it was big. And yes... I've never played it since.

Gaming Confession: There was a minigame for the PS2's "Eyetoy" camera called "Wishy Washy", in which the camera detected the movement of your hands as you cleaned windows on the screen. I came up with a cheat way to beat my highscore, by using a towel and waving it frantically in front of the camera to clean the whole window at once. When my friends came round and played, they couldn't understand how I had such a high score. I thought I was really cool as I just smugly told them I was the best window cleaner.

#gamingconfessions - Earlier this year I had two of my best friends from school spend the night at our house. We did the usual "sleepover" stuff, but by the time it was 1 am, they were starting to doze off. So, like the good friend that I am, I decided to play Bloodborne. Again, it was 1am, we have a 50 inch flatscreen TV, surround sound speakers that were 4 feet tall, and they had never played a horror(ish) game before. We made our character, and watched the opening cutscene, and my buddy Philip was terrified! So, I handed him the controller, and I forced him to venture forth. Not 10 minutes in, one of the enemies smashed a barrel and ran at him screaming from behind. Since we had surround sound, Philip actually thought that the sound was behind him. I never knew a human could scream as high and loud as he did. I'm such a good friend.

gaming confession: back in 2000~2001 my brother and I bought a steering wheel controller for our ps1. The only one at the store was a package deal that came with Driver 2. It wasn't age appropriate but since there was no other choice available, our dad bought it for us anyway. I was 9 and my brother was 7 and needless to say we were very confused. We'd never played a mission oriented game before (we only owned crash bandicoot 3 and CTR at the time). We were also very bad at driving with the steering wheel so we spent a few hours completely lost chasing down a train and failing it about fifty times. When we finally caught it we didn't know we were supposed to go up to the train platform and failed again...so we quit after one day of play and when I looked up a let's play a few months ago I was shocked it was a gang chase. So that's why the cops kept chasing us...

Gaming Confession; Star Wars Force Unleashed. Last little bit on the Imperial Kashyyyk level, guy in the AT-ST. He needed ONE more hit, maybe two, and I hit jump instead of attack and just sailed off the edge of the cliff, Starkiller even twisted in midair as though to catch the edge and pull himself back up and failed. I just felt so angry that I entered that weird state of calm. Carefully placed the controller on the console, turned the console (and TV) off and left the room. Never went back to that game again.

But after a couple of weeks I picked it up again, Dr Pepper in hand (sugar required for quick reflexes), and went full throttle at it! Happy to now say I am pretty much at the end of the game and pleased to have forced my will to play it through properly. I also have a bad case of compulsive map completion so I have every discovery so far for 100% map fills... I spent an hour alone hunting for one birds nest!

Gaming Confession: I haven't played The Witcher 3 as I heard it was a great story so I started the first one. I feel bad how Triss loves you from the start of the first Witcher (she says something about it from the start), but yet I get with every girl I can in the game. I also feel bad that I left this great story and games so late. :(

I was playing Skyrim and I have always loved trying to get over mountains that you are not meant to get over. those times when you spam the jump button and keep slowly climbing the mountain. Well I spent nearly an hour and a half climbing one of the mountains, finally got to the top and felt so accomplished. I started to walk down the mountain and immediately got mauled by a bear. My last save was almost 2 hours previous.... I quit...

Gaming Confession: I waited for ages for Halo 3 to come out but, as soon as it had installed on my XBox 360, I got the red ring of death. I waited until my replacement console came through the post, I took it immediately to my friendly neighbourhood game shop and traded it in for a PS3. I have never played Halo 3 since (or any Halo game, actually).

Gaming Confessions: When LOTR Shadows of Mordor came out i picked it up, as a huge fan of LOTR and Assassins Creed I had high hopes for this game! After 5 hours of play I just couldn't get into it... and then I quit.. it still sits next to my PS4 to this day..gathering dust.

Idea for next seasons one on onesie; Instead of pick games from a hat, that you have pre picked, get the games from the comments. Like the other sections, ask the community for one on onesie ideas and the loser of the previous week (first week can just be a coin toss) gets to pick his favourite idea. This should be more challenging/closer contest as each week gives last weeks loser a slight advantage. Hopefully that way no one runs away with it. :) Personal footnote; this season was too quick, make it longer like season 1.

I watched loads of videos on KZbin about Mortal Kombat 9 so when Mortal Kombat X came out I was so excited to play...however I'd never played much of a fighting game before, the single player was ok but I tried a game online, I didn't land one hit and I was in a puddle of blood and entrails before I could process my sorrow... I haven't played it since

Gaming confession, when I first played skyrim I arrived in riverwood and at that point I didn't fully understand the controls and cast my fire spell at a chicken... The whole town went crazy and I didn't play the game again till 2013
