dachte immer, die aktuellen Virus-Synths wären sogenannte "Mode-Synthis". Doch der Virus B klingt ja mal schön fett (analog)! wenn mein Roland JP 8080 abbezahlt ist, steht dieser Synth als nächstes auf meiner Kaufliste! ich danke dir für das tolle Video!

Great video. I was curious to hear the difference between a Virus A and a Virus B so loaded this bank (its available on the Virus website) in my Virus A. Most patches sound identical. Some require minor tweaks like adjusting cutoff and a handful sound completely different (like very faint in volume)

Hey, I'm new to synths so I was wondering if you get the access virus b, would it have all these sound banks on it, or would you have to pay for new sound 'banks' or sounds? On another note the sound you play at 0:53 sounds great!

I HAVE A ACCESS VIRUS CLASSIC AND CANT ACCESS THE EXTRA BANKS , ONLY A,B,C,D, ANY SUGGESTION?

Im sorry, for responding so late...so in the factory shipping these patches are not included, You have to override the demosong with a sysex File to replace this with the new Banks. I downloaded the File from the Access Website, but unfortunately they are gone , but maybe the support on the access Website can help! take care...TA

How does the virus sound next to the blofeld?

The Blofeld is also a great synth. But, the Virus has a more old school character. It really depends on your taste IMO. Both are great synths. If it was my decision, I'd get the Virus, simply because I own the Largo soft synth, which is very similar to the Blofeld. Apart from that, I have a soft spot for old school VA sound... think Virus, Waldorf Q, Supernova, JP-8000 and the likes.

do the LED's really blink like that? or is it just the camera that can't pick them up properly?

+tryllejens It's the camera. Only the LFO LEDs blink as far as I've found on mine.

I have a TI Polar, a Snow and the B now. I'll have to say that I like the TI's more than the B, but it's still an amazing machine.

+Михаил Алёшин I'm madly in love with my B. I'm finding it to have a fairly steep learning curve to program good patches, but it sounds excellent. Highly recommended.
